When I roll, the foam goes over like a bump in my muscle, Idk if that's a different muscle or part of my ITB, it's about 4 inches above my knee on the outer side and stretches almost horizontally across...do you know what that is?
Hi, it most likely is a trigger point in the iliotibial band. However, it is difficult to say with any certainty without seeing it. I would recommend visiting a chiropractor skilled in myofascial or active release technique or a qualified massage therapist or physical therapist to better tell you what is going on. Please email me at drcharleshecht@yahoo.com and let me know what city you are in and I'll be happy to help you find a practitioner. Have a great day!
Thanks for the tips. I just made a ghetto one out of a 2 liter coke bottle. It worked! I just had to use your video to learn how to actually use it properly. I feel great now. thanks!
