@ACDCwarmachine it's a preamp really (although it can simulate teh sound of owoer amp tubes)... but it still needs amplifying with a real power amp of some sort. Check out the Line 6 DT50 and DT25 amplifiers.
@rowbi12345 eh... too over priced. if i got the new pod hd pro (same thing but in rack form), could i run the out through a rack power amp? i already have one from my friend and id rather just have the the 2 racks in a rack case (weighing like 20-35 pounds) vs my head+the rack pod (my head already weighs like 50 pounds... then add the rack pod)
@ACDCwarmachine yes you can use any poweramp... But only the DT50 gives you real poweramp configurations in the tube poweramp section. If you don't want those, then that's fine, use whatever poweramp you have. POD HD Pro + poweramp in a rack sounds like a nice compact rig... nice1
can you run this direct into a cab? or do you have to have a power amp?
