Yeah, the 445nm BLUE one is 1000mW. The green one ranges from 100-500mW. I didn't write 400mW green for the sake of it. I wrote 400mW green because that is what I was given and that is what it said on the power sheet.

But about the cancer thing, I did a search and it's a myth, laser irradiation has no bad effects other than burning the skin, it cannot cause cancer, actually, it has proven good results on treating some particular types of tumors, but with proper equipment.

I genuinely don't get it... What is this laser useful for?!? I can understand buying a powerful laser that has all the prisms, mirrors, motors in it etc that are used in nightclubs... But what can you do with a hand held laser?!? ...other than light matches obviously... which has the excitement levels that last for all of 30seconds...
