finally here. the fact that beat KTQ & got the star w/o wasting any frames makes it non-improveable (even if frames are saved in between you'll have to w8 for KTQ in the end). Now the only way to improve this is activating KTQ earlier, if possible. Otherwise should be maxed. Good job

I've seen this video before. Myles had a very good route planned for simply getting 100 coins, but we need a better route for 100 Coins + Koopa the Quick if one exists.

i say do the flying portion of that strat first, then activate koopa and do the rest. should be plenty of time, and would get high 2:xx or low 3:xx if i'm looking at it right.

Hmm...I could pick up 13 coins on the way to the stone cannon, 2 on the island, 35 in the air, activate the race, and collect 50 on the way to the finish. I'll be cutting it close with the race, but it seems possible.

Thanks. To be honest, though, the flying was completely unplanned, and i came up short on coins, so i ended up adding the second little box on the spot. Luckily, Koopa the Quick isn't so quick.

as it is, i have so much speed that i couldn't collect enough coins (you can only pick one coin up every frame). One of the delays in making this was figuring out how the fuck i could make up the lost coins without losing time. I ended up using the second box for that purpose.
