The great thing about Douglas...he was smart and saved his money. So he really doesn't have to work if he doesn't want to (but he is teaching History at a middle school just outside of Pittsburgh). He does still do Indy bookings just because he loves the business. One of my favorites of all time. One of the best mic men in the business. The guy KNEW how to draw heat. And that snap belly to belly...sheer beauty.

I love Shane Douglas,the guy was a very underated wrestler,who in his prime was a great worker,and as this wcw footage shows,a great talker aswell,I believe that Troy Martin (Shane Douglas' real name),the guy is back teaching at a high-school?,I read that he is a real intelligent guy,also he is in the process of writing his book,which should be a quality read.

Shane Douglas. There were some reports going around a while back that he was working at a local Target somewhere in his hometown. I think he was training to be a manager.

Justin Credible supposedly used to work at a Target, but now people are saying he's a cook at an Olive Garden.

It's a real shame that guys who are household names to some people have to go from being pro wrestlers to making breadsticks in a kitchen to pay the rent.

Everyone wants to blame Russo, and I use to initially. But when I think back upon it, Bischoff himself indirectly destroyed WCW for constantly pushing Hogan and revising the nWo. By 1999, the nWo ran its course and it was getting boring and Hogan was still in the main event. Plus, the fingerpoke of doom at the first Nitro between Hogan/Nash is what in my opinion started the downfall of WCW. Bischoff never wanted to create new stars, at least Russo tried but he also created garbage storylines.
