  • i swear it says vampire rideline

  • did michael gira get credit for this? or rather, an apology?

  • V is for Vagina

  • Ahaha, Gira is just bitter that Maynard is rich and banging Jarboe.

  • Also directed here by Michael Gira. I wonder how Maynard's vinification is going. I bet his wine tastes similar to other small batch specialty wines, but a bit more palatable to novices.

  • @JeisonMylre - I saw Puscifer a few weeks ago at the Lakewood civic center and they were drinking his wine throughout the entire show.... the f@cks wouldn't share though....

  • LOL, Michael Gira brought me here.

  • Nice cover of Skin

  • @wdamian yes because skin was the first person in the world to have a simple base line at the begining of a song. congratz. i actually believe the band is skin. unless you suggest that "everything at once" is a band name

  • @EvilTim1234 Skin is the name of the duo who wrote the original ;)

  • plain plagiarism.

  • if you listen to this song once you haven't really heard it.....

If you listen to this song straight you'll never hear it....

    red waters.....

  • i just realized i was listening to trekka on my computer that i typed in 10 seconds ago, now 15 seconds ago because i'm a slow typer... now my neighbors wont have sex w me... weird

  • @oneveez - I just realized that I was listening to trekka on my computer dancing completely naked in front of my window.... but, none of the neighbors even noticed because they were too busy listening to Puscifer.....so I went to Maynard for advice and he punched me in the face....

  • sounds like awesome

  • sounds like they sampled from the second season of starhunter's them song by peter gabriel, no?

  • Sounds like he is saying left right little red, as if the blood won't cease to show up

  • this song is the theme music to the birth of jabba the hut

  • @LPdef123 Thies song is theme music to the birth of God. Yeah. I went there.

  • @uiruu Thies? Jesus, learn to type, me.

  • sweet maynardism!!!

  • This song wills away fear itself....

  • What ever it takes to get from A 2 B

  • This song makes me believe I can fight every hypocritical or head strong a-hole in Boulder CO. God damn hippies gettin rolled under peoples wheel wells for no reason. Lets fight and maybe you will get a taste of humble pie!!

  • @311bobbo YOU QUAZY

  • I was just frustrated that I almost hit a car that hit a pole that was getting out of the way of a biker crossing whenever the hell they want. Cars out weigh people just about 16:1 in most cases. DONT BE STUPID PEOPLE!! Also this song gets me goin'. I saw APC at Red Rocks it was awesome.

  • if you had to reduce or define what it s about in just one concept

  • Nah, this song is clearly about being a soldier in the war on drugs. Sounds to me like it's saying "fuck it, you're gonna die anyway, get fucked up, expand and extend thyself and make a life worth remeniscing lest you die a zombie"

  • @RobMathis315 To me, it's a catchy Puscifer song.

  • Sounds to me like it's about "fuck it, you're gonna die anyway, get fucked up, expand and extend thyself and make a life worth remeniscing lest you die a zombie"

  • and all the men, soldiers and victims were excited and cheering the leader, i was excited too and unafraid. I tell all this crap because i never forgot that dream, it´so simbolic and falic it almost hillarious, and the first time i listened to this song i fliped out, it feels exactly like the dream and suits perfectly. sorry for my english

  • @ucanleaveurHATEon What you describe sounds like an old occult tribe deriving from Babylon.Human sacrifices and animal husbandry were a regular site. These secret brotherhoods of Babylon are the secretive fraternities of today.Check out Bohemian grove in the search bar for a start to the big conspiracy facts of the secret societies that rule the world and/or influence it now.

    I'm sure it,l astonish you.

  • @Celovath it doesn´t matter if it is history facts and a specific tribe, i know ancient civilizations did human sacrifices . I thinks is more related to the collective unconscious, and the male arquetype, and what it represents, and the big part of that, that i have within. everything was masculine, everything. and i´m very masculine myself and reprees all the female qualities in general, anyway.. i´ll keep searching for the meaning

  • @ucanleaveurHATEon Take heed of the brotherhoods with a *keep eye degree system* with secret knowledge..They are the liars.Arm yourself with knowledge of your maker. And his gift to man in this fallen world we corrode everyday.I can't tell you what to do or where to turn or shove it down your throat. Its best you keep going at your pace and your road.Good luck.

But yes after Babylon's fall human sacrifices in every tribe were common and acceptable.God did strike Babel in an odd way.History says.

  • @ucanleaveurHATEon hey. if i can interpret ur dream. or atleast what it means for me reading this is showing people have been sacrificing others since dawn. Only in modern times it took another form thats why they turn into gunmen etc. that's what i think.

  • @doggystyle040 yeap, but again, i don´t think the sacrifice is something to take literal, i think it means that it remains nowadays just like thousand years ago, because what remains is the nature of the male arquetype, and an arquetype doesn´t change, it´s the structure beneath the surface, what i´d like to understand is what the arquetype really means, that´s what i ´ve been wondering for a long time, how to describe feminity and masculinity in just a word for each one

  • i had a dream once, about an ancient civilization ¨s group of men/soldiers having a ritual wich included human sacrifice. It was placed in some meadow at night, with moonlight, there was a tall leader performing the sacrifices wich consisted in smashing victim´s heads with a big stone, i was one of the next victims (i´m a girl actually), before the sacrifices started there was a line of elephants soldiers and they would rise their trunks and they would turn into fire guns. everyone was aroused

  • reminds me of humping the mountains in afghan

  • what is the song about. dont really get it...

  • well i couldn't take anymore..bough the cd on amazon.com...

  • I don't know what you guys are talking about to me this song is about being a grunt in the US Army. Makes sense since Keenan served in the Army, and I liked it because well, I'm joining the Army, gunna hear that Hooah! a lot more. Don't understand where the weed comes in though, they'll kick your ass out if you fail one of their random pee tests.

  • @GamePath I think Maynard actually despised the army. I mean, he was in it. But he didn't like it afterwards, as far as i've heard. Killing blindly based on ignorant orders is never a good thing.

  • @Zartyzzo True, if you are in the US Army though, believing that America believes in good and selflessness, you would hope that you are killing for a good cause though. As a grunt, you have a limited view just like any other civilian. Also if you were to disobey an order you could be severely punished, who would want their kids growing up without a daddy for several years, because you don't want to kill someone who would eventually be killed anyway, or kill you and your buddies even.

  • I agree this song needs to build up to somethin awesome..but still good as is

  • Maynard = Satisfactory

  • @FrostyRSIFX Correction

    Maynard > Satisfactory

  • @maynardfangirl andtlcrogha1 -- yes i agree maynard seems to have that effect ;)

  • @vheartrocks you know how maynard is...his greedy ass will only let u hit it once and he makes u pass it hahaha

  • So, you'll argue that my answer makes me a "dickhead" but not actually answer the OP's question? Apparently the tongue-in-cheek half-humor effect I was trying to convey was lost on you. Again, there IS no genre for Puscifer, and as for this track specifically, damned if I know. It's dark electronic; that's the most I can say. And I LOVE electronic, mind you. YOU tell the OP which genre it is. YOU tell us what else it sounds like. feel free; it IS an open--and stupid--forum, after all...

  • This song is all buildup and no payoff.

  • @SnakeRambo this is just a groove song.

  • @SnakeRambo What

  • @xxDEATHKILLERxx I mean, we keep building up with these power chords, this big crescendo, but then we never get to a solo or a chord change, some dramatic climax. It just increases and never resolves. All buildup. No payoff.

  • @SnakeRambo You're exactly right. Ive always been a fan of Maynard's singing but I just can't get into the Puscifer stuff :|

  • anyone got lyrics?

  • Puscifer crawled into my dreams and made me a rock star!!

  • I absolutely love this. What is this sort of music called? Or this sort of vocals? I really want to find more like it but the most I find are ones with awesome instruments but screaming vocals.

    Help appreciated!

  • @victoriapschen Good luck finding an actual name for it. For one thing, it's Maynard. The genre is Maynard. For another, there are no longer any music genres, only fashion styles and dress-codes.

  • @poodlepoodle777 orrrrrrrrrrr you could just not be an asshole about someone who just wants to know more about the music they're listening to. all they wanted to know were more avenues to the music they are appreciating at the moment and to find out more perhaps about the artist/s or similar artists to this. you would think if you were here you'd have more respect for music and spreading the good it could do for a person, as opposed to being a dickhead.

  • Something that Generates so many Sounds with Story Lyrics that drive one to stand for Life even against Unseen Forces that Simply Said My Brothers and Sisters ....Im a Christian Gothic Style Voice and Spirit That seems to always speak and even share this sound with the Archangels in Live Heaven and the Forgiver Himself even testifies by Word and Lyrics as Convinced once Heard Tool is the Best Band Sound Around...Its Like When Pink Floyd Made all this theater sound with Lyrics to Match...Maynard

  • Daamn IT ....Tool and (Indigo Child) Maynard (My Bro !) (Mayne) .. with These Armagedon Style Second Coming Here ?...!... March to the Rhythm of the War Drums tunes...Fuck Yea ! From one SoldIer Archangel with the Scabed Wings to All...The Wind Calls Out The Cadence as the the Music, Word, Truth, and Spirits, of TRUTH Spiritual Warfare Live Vicariously and Always and Never Shocked by the Win !!!...First there was Black Sabbath, then Came Judas Priest, Next my Boy Marilyn Manson Now..Tool etc.

  • there should be a video with some movement for this song.. somethin like sober's video

  • i'm so glad my oblivious ass found out about puscifer

  • @alexstone7 ditto

  • @alexstone7

Glad??? Shit dude, be proud! Ecstatic! Rejuvenated! Lustful! Sexually Aroused and completely Indestructible!!

  • Derp, that should have said "SOLDIER", not "solder". Damn not noticing typos so they end up as different words.

  • To add on to the lyrics post at the end: "[repeat line 1 to "ahead"]. I don't know, but it's been said: 'We'll rest forever when we're dead'.[x5?] We'll rest forever when we're dead."[x2]

Damned if I can understand what he's saying in the other tracks throughout. I think, "Left, right, solder!" and as someone else noted, "Left, right, a little left".

    LOL again @ fruitcake. Ha.

  • @novelist10... late reply is because I've had sticky fingers (the neighbors didn't come through, so no fruitcake -- but, lots and LOTS of fudge). lol, you cracked me up

  • Sweet, dark ambient! :)

  • ohh, can't get enough... it's like sexy metal :P

  • I just realized that I was sitting in front of the window while trekka played -- computer on the desk in front of me, hands moving in the air above my head, and a sort of seductive swaying in my chair while my heels thunked the floor like some sort of tranced native. Great. The neighbors will never bring me fruitcake now.

  • @tlcroghan1 the neighbors have never brought me fruitcake. you lucky bastard. :D

  • @tlcroghan1

At least I know I'm not the only one.......

  • @tlcroghan1 They might think you're a fruitcake, but won't bring you any.... because they may not understand the style of music, which is sad considering that MJK is one of the most awesome songwriters of our day. :D

  • whats the guy saying at 3:01-3:20

  • @ZeroOdyssey pretty sure it's "Left, Right, a little left" (military cadence)

  • For some reason, the songs' rhythm reminds me of killer clowns... I like.

  • Not to self: Don't try to get dressed to Puscifer or you'll end up dancing like a stripper in your underwear and being late to wherever you're going. Ironically, I'm getting ready for Rocky Horror and am currently transforming into the Whore of Babylon.

  • @maynardfangirl Love your humor and spirit. In your few words, I painted a picture in my mind of your psyche that I'd love to know, understand and have near me. Some call that Charisma, or Karma... I'd just call it an energy or mentality that others may drink from leaving them energized and at peace.

When you hit 80, I'm sure you'll still be someone to be reckoned with and hard to keep up with.... Don't know ya, but I luv ya!

    Muaaaaaaaa!

  • @losmon68 Wow, thanks! Major ego boost! Was all that just based on my Rocky Horror comment? lol

  • @maynardfangirl I believe you meant, "a whore" as opposed to "the whore".

    Praise the lard.

  • @maynardfangirl you should probably make a video about that....

  • The beginning construction sounds remind me of a Static-X song off of Wisconsin Death Trip. =]

  • lmao im afraid to keep reading farther down the comments

  • Listened to this song being super blazed for the first time last night, and it was fucking awesome. Now that I listen to it, it's pretty alright.

  • Anyone ever heard of SWANS and World of Skin? Maynard certainly has. This is a rip off. Look up Skin's everything at once.

  • @MrNobody425

Hardly conclusive since Jarboe herself is credited with the background vocals. Perhaps as opposed to a rip it is an homage?

  • @deezeeweezy925 I saw Michael Gira post the comparison on his Facebook account and immediately jumped the gun and called out Maynard due to... well, my prejudice against Maynard. Totally unwarranted and completely stupid of me, especially considering half the songs I write wound up sounding A LOT more like Swans/World of Skin than this does. It is an homage and I am a hypocrite retard.

  • this song is a rip off of Swans

  • Love this, you tell him maynard, Beer n weed is all ya need!.

  • Maynard is kinda cool in a weird way but long story short, this sucks as far as music is concerned. I am sorry if your so stoned it sounds good to you. Enjoy oblivion.

  • @macaroni610 lol

  • I like this change Maynard took with Puscifer. He don't restrain himself into one style of music and that's important to me. Like it or not he's doing what he wants. Now I can't wait to taste his wine.

  • HIM doesnt hold a candle to keenan

  • @bigdnco

How could you even mention a group of such mediocrity in the same sentence as a musical genius of the caliber of Maynard?

  • This ish the awsomeist album and band!! ^D^ Love it

Btw ish he saying come my little lamb or somethin else lol xDD plzz tell i wanna know i love them

  • @imooatcows101 you mean you love HIM

  • I really love this. Are there any other music or songs or genre which sounds similar/has a similar feel? I love this so much more than screaming and growling.

  • this is probably one of my favorite puscifer tracks so far.

  • @stupid173 also not to mention he doesn't like how business lies to get money

  • This whole album left me with a profound appreciation of nature... i dont know why.

  • @GreenEarBuds then why are you listening to it.......And its one person and he is mocking you....... not me

  • @GreenEarBuds Lol MJK is the devil himself??? holy shit!! lol, you're fn retarded mr "greenearbuds"

  • @GreenEarBuds fuck you you christian piece of shit go preach in church not on youtube

  • @GreenEarBuds who are you talking about, when you say "this song is mocking you!!!"

  • @GreenEarBuds

    It's just music, dude.....

  • @GreenEarBuds Just...jesus fucking christ. Lol. *sighs* Church is where you go to preach. It serves no purpose here.

  • @GreenEarBuds lol, you take things way too seriously, im sure jesus will bless you with a holy ulcer before long

  • yall are some weird people

  • Free Marc Emery!

  • Maynard is truly the most interesting man in the world .

  • @tonypata never seen him drink a Dos Equis, though???

  • @karpalov no but, Ii'd like to try his wine. He was at wholefoods signing bottles last summer in boston. i had to work.

  • good job

  • saw show in lorain,oh.... f-ing awesome!

  • @ecnelissloof I envy you. I wish I could have made it. I'm not cheap . . I'm broke.

  • isnt this the singer of tool, maynard's band, and isnt it all by himself?

  • @sackhacky no, he has a revolving cast of musicians and singers that he works with on Puscifer. If you get a chance to see them, do it!

  • @sackhacky i know for a fact its the singer from tool but i have no idea if hes by himself im pretty sure hes working with a perfect circle now though

  • Isn't he working with all 3? I heard a new Tool album is coming out ;]

  • @brynn They are working on it. It could be as long as a year from now, though.

  • Comment removed

  • James maynard keenan <3

  • @sackhacky THe lead singer is Mayanrd, vtjumpr is right though he has a revolving cast of musicians.

  • From 1:29 to 1:50, what are they saying??

  • wrong

  • You sayin im wrong

  • I don't know, but it's been said, "You do or don't, and then you're dead." So climb away, get higher son. Never stray, just move ahead. Never wander off the grass, Sniff the dope and act an ass, Just a soldier marching to The golden rule of "puff and pass." So pardon me *I'll wrap it up* If I was speakin' out of class. I'm just a grunt who's groovin' to The golden rule of "puff and pass."
  • Good thinkin :P.

  • @x4aperfecttool word, although this track always makes me think of hiking through the woods in shitty weather. That or driving through it in 5ft visibility.

  • BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • Maynard is my Messiah!!!! I fuckin love him <3

  • dont tell ethan

  • Oh how I love this. Maynard, you make my life a new level of awesome. Thankyou. So much.

  • Such a unique band Puscifer is! There is something about this music that makes me fucking drawn!?

  • Maynard was probably a Bad ass soldier when he was in! I wonder if his superiors ever had a clue just how defiant and rebellious he would end up being! Fuck no!!!

  • It's a reset button for the brain! It's not a high if you can't remember it in my opinion.

  • back road.. throught the mountains. Fast. night time.. faster, in the words of Rush" to be played at Max. volume........hoora

  • got to see the live Puscifer show in Phoenix on 12/4.. Nice variations of several songs. Most in the audience seemed to be on board with Maynard's varied look at the world. Hope they get to Chicago. I will attend again, but a few more drinks during the show will be had.. Merry Christmas all you Puscifer's.

  • @germanz1313 haha nice.. i get to see them on march 21st im fuckin stoked! its gonna be amazing!! maynard is a god!

  • I'm 58 yrs old and this is one of the best crank up the car stereo tunes i've heard in some time. You youngin'sare very blessed to have music that gets deep into you. God bless the Puscifer!!!!

  • Amen! That's awesome!!!!

  • @germanz1313 You're the most awesome 58-year-old I've ever heard of.
