@TheEarlOfDublin - the E is a suspension from the A major. The actual chord is Bb, D, F. You can still call it major, although many chords in flamenco don't have the same harmonic function that they would have in common-practice western music.

thanks for showing this "open string" trick of the flamenco music. It is so simple and make stuff sound like flamenco. Actually, I discovered this trick by ear only for the F major chord.
