  • You can buy giovanni products for only $4.93 at iherb.com use this coupon code ECE356 its for first time users and you get $5 off your order

  • Your hair is really gorgeous. Try loc extensions to see if you will like the look. I think you will still have to maintain locs. Don't be fooled into thinking you can just leave them alone.

  • @natrlchallenge, you ain't never lying. I do think it's naive to think that locs have no maintenance. They do, especially in the earlier stages. Thanks for your comment!!

  • Have you thought of yarn braids, I have then in now and they look like locs.also known as genie locs. this could satisfy your desire fo locs for now.x

  • @ssikmoi88, I agree with you about yarn braids. They DO look like locs! I do think this is a good way to "test" out locs before taking the plunge. Thanks for your comments! :)

  • if youve wanted to loc for a long time you should just take the plunge and go for it. Otherwise you will always find excuses as well as people telling u not to. I locd from long hair and never looked back. You can always take them down if not happy :-)

  • @DollyMat, I definitely agree with you. I tried locing my hair a few months ago but learned my scalp was too flaky for it. I am now trying to get my flaky scalp under control. But I certainly agree. Thanks for your comment! :)

  • I don't use the leave in I do use and love Giovanni tea tree triple treat shampoo and conditioner and I'm n love...

And I understand how u feel I bore to easy to get locs I'll twist but locs r not an opinion gd luck

  • @sassie37, I have not tried the tea tree yet. I'll have to try that! I think locs do have versatility and are lower maintenance which is why one day I hope to get them. For now though I'll keep the loose, crazy, curl! :)

  • What if you wore twists or braids most of the time? Then you could kinda have the best of both worlds. It would just be sad for you to not be able to see your hair and how it behaves at longer lengths! But I'm sure whatever you decide will be right for you.

  • @godschildyes, thanks for the suggestion. I will be taking your advice for now. Hopefully, one day I will loc but it will be down the road (although I don't know how far down). Locing is something that I have always wanted to do so I will try it someday! :)

  • Hey Raena! Your hair looks great. It's grown so much since I last saw 1 of your videos. Locs would look great on you! They can be just as versatile as free standing hair. Keep in mind that they require maintenance too. You have to re twist your new growth and wash them weekly, so that's something to consider. I still miss mine, sometimes:( I also use Giovanni DL and the DM Conditioner on my hair. Great choices.. Whatever you decide, locs or not, I know it'll look great on you. Love ya!

  • @flobrownonline, love you too!!! How are you doing Flo? I hope all is well in your world and that your family is wonderful!!! Your hair looked beautiful loced! You don't have locs any longer? Doesn't matter, either way you are a beautiful person inside and out!!! I hope to talk to you soon! :)

  • I luv ur hair gurl! I have used Giovanni leave in a few times, but how do you get the white residue out of ur hair? I have tried and tried but then i jus end up washing it out...

  • @cb250887, great question! I have been using it less and less because of the residue. I do like Kinky Curly Knot Today leave in conditioner. It works great too although their products are expensive.
