  • did you perm your hair 1st and than put the Aphogee Treatment or the other way around

  • oh and when washing it out...did you rub and scrub it out as if it were shampoo?

Don't do that. Try letting the water simply rinse it out and just comb your fingers threw your hair and the water runs through it. This way you don't create tangles and knots. You hair is really still hard before the balancer, so it's not a good idea to do too much to it until it's returned to it normal more moisturized state.

tip: when doing the balancer, you can even try mixing the 2 min Reconsturizer

  • okay hun...how did you put in the treatment. Did you rub it in? cuz it's best to simply spray it from a spray bottle into your hair and comb with a wide tooth comb as fast as you can BEFORE IT GETS DRY. when you comb it straight up into a pony tail before getting under the dryer, that helps. It does help if your hair isn't straight out of braids and hard to comb through...(which is why I felt the need to do my relaxer before the treatment in my vid lol)

  • @Starchiq Thanks for all the tips! I did not use a spray bottle to apply Step One simply because I didn't have one. I will get one before I try this again. I did run through the hair with a wide tooth comb before it hardened during Step One but it still ended up tangled. I also think that I will do the treatment one week after my perm and see if that helps as well.

  • hEY HUN, TRY QP PRODUCTS TOO.

  • @SoulfulAries Thanks! I wanted to try their Olive Oil and Mango moisturizer. I think I'm going to buy it and see how it works out for me.
