Here we see clearly that there is a difference between types of cones but what about the material the filter is made out of? Chemex,Hario(is it different from the regular ones?),regular white and brown or cloth filters and would I get the same result from using the Chemex filter in cone rather than in the special Chemex maker ? To zoom it up: Is the difference that much it would be worth it to own more than one type of pour over device ?
@klarinetta The problem with the filter material is whether it gives an off paper taste. Brown filters tend to give more paper taste than white, but it's best to test each by simply brewing with it minus the coffee, and see how papery the water tastes...
What grinder. I see folks worrying about uniform grinding. Looks like what I get from my blade grinder?????
