Not sure I understand your question. Pump is only running when the key is in the 'ON' position.

Well it sure seems to be better than too have the heat expand and contract the steal & or aluminum parts all the time and have streatch marks. So it seems Cool way to go B amn. !

Free's up parasitic drag, allows the engine to cool down in between runs at the dragstrip with motor off, runs the pump at max effiency at any rpm.
