I was in the midst of the greatest giants in Magic back in New York City in the 60's and didn't even know it.
I remember visiting Al's store on 34th St when it was still near 8th Ave. I had the honor of meeting Al and hearing him rant about different customer's after they would leave the shop. He was hysterical! I own his 'magic wand'. Also have one of his business cards.
