  • Wow 10.000 views :) other musicians do this on only 1 day but im really happy about this 10k views thank you so much ;)

  • just bought that kinda look guitar. The colours are so nice on thoose les pauls. btw what do amplifier do you think its best? marshall or vox? for just playing to your self or with music on to get the best sound?

  • @Zoyer1 well, if youre playin in your house at low volumes i wouldnt go for a 100w marshall head beacause you cant get good sounds out of it at bedroom level, except youve install a attenuator. i think a vox vt 15 or 30 is really good for homepractice or you buy a vintage modern from marshall which sound really good at low volumes ;)

  • @Aoloso Thank you. I dont play on low volume i got an old workshop or what it is :P so i do play at kinda high volume. So a 60w marshall would maybe do it or something, but is it worth to pay around like 300 euro? i got a 20w vox right now for around 220 euro. will it be any big diffarence? :P or shall i go on big!

  • @Zoyer1 i would earn some money i think 500-600€ and then watch for a used Marshall DSL 50 or Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 both are 50 watt head and are awesome. the dsl goes more modern and highgain the vintage modern is a amp between jcm 800 and the old plexi, but has enough gain for newer stuff (this is also my favourite amp) you can find both on ebay for 500-600€ used.

  • @Aoloso Thank you, yea it will be some saving then hehe.

  • For anyone who asked for my tones...

i dont remember them because i sold the tonelab one year ago BUT i can tell you some ground settings for the tones:

metal setting: US MEtal gain at 8 presence at 5 or 7, treble on 4, mids at 5, bass on 7

  • Hi, can you give me your Metal tone settings please? nice sound.

  • Hey great playing. I was wondering does this pedal have a pith shifting ability like the digi-tech whammy? Thanks

  • @Distorted00Addiction hey dude ;)

    thanks ;)

yeah it has a pit shifting ability, but i used it not so many times :P

  • hey @ all dudes which ask for the settings.

  • What software do you use to record?

  • @ovechcro8778 audacity.

  • what are your settings for the second patch? im struggling my ass of to get that right!

  • @Phillip1393

    This are the settings dude:

    FX: Comp at level 5, Amp:(CST)US Highgain, gain @ 5, treble @ 7.6, bass @ 5.5, presence @ 4, volume @ 8-10, cab: UK H30 4x12, Noise Reduction @ 7 and the modification is a little bit of echo ;)

    hope i could help you.

  • Love it!! Tnx mate!!!

  • @Phillip1393

  • 4:44 By the Sword:)

    I see your a Guns N' Roses/Slash fan!:D

  • @Videoguru184 the greatest :D

  • Guitar?

  • @SparcoC4 epiphone les paul standart from 1999 built in korea

  • Hey I like your setting can you send me please you settings?

  • awsome!!!!!!

  • @LasVegasA8 thank you dude :)

  • i liked your cleans and distor. could you tell me your settings?

  • What are the settings when you play heavy?

  • Comment removed

  • @diablo9333 uh, i dont know dude, i did'nt tried it :/

  • Dude can is there a stomp button or anything you can press with your foot to enable and disable effects like flanger and chorus etc

  • @joshua0226 yes there is a button to enable and disable it but it is not as big as the patch switch button ;)

  • @Aoloso what are your settings for she builds quick?

  • Hell yeah man! im gettin' one of those for christmas so i can rock like the king (aka SLASH) nice job, sweet child o mine needs a lil more gain and maby cut back the mid a lil...subscribe me...i had a lot of slash covers...im gonna do more when i get the time ;)

  • Don't listen to what anyone says about this people! I have one and it is freaking awesome! It has acoustic patches and everything. The best part is the tube makes it sound genuine unlike things like the POD which is digital I believe.

  • Ordered one of these suckers yesterday. Should be coming any day now. Is this the direct line in recording? I forgot to ask.

  • @diablo9333 yes dude ;)

    this is line recording ;)

  • @Aoloso Hey manual is a bit confusing. Can you make a vid on making a patch from scratch?

  • @diablo9333 hey diablo ;)

sorry ive sold my tonelab because i need money for my university :/

but do you have any special questions about it ?

mabye i could help you ...

  • @Aoloso well before I get to what I was originally going to say how did you record so cleanly because mine keeps making fuzzy noises on a more dirty sound? I know it is hard to help me since you got rid of yours but did you run into the same problem? What did you use to line in record this(software)? Also did you download these presets or come up with them from scratch because I really like them?

  • @diablo9333 these patches ive made by my self in freetime =) the one AFD setting is from PuroMojo (a user here in youtube, great dude ;) )

yeah i had this problem with recording too.

a really noisy sound in recording.

i fixed it with low volumes.

so you have to switch the tonelab to "line" than you have to put the level on i think 7 or 8, i used audacity to record everything, and dont forget to install all the drivers, put the box simulator on if you line record and it will be noisless and clean

  • @Aoloso funny thing is that is what I did a little after I put this comment and it is fixed. I asked Puromojo if he could put the patch up for download since I am a noob and I cannot put in settings properly lol. Right now my favorite patches that come with the Tonelab is the Back in black patch(sounds just like Angus), Sweet Child O Mine patch, and the acoustic patch. All patches sound better than expected.

  • @Aoloso Hey one question. Is it possible to replace 1 or 2 presets with downloaded ones using the sound librarian software? Also would it be possible to move some tones up to the front(first preset, second...). It is because the whole thing is I wanna switch between them really fast.

  • @diablo9333 sure. you can switch or replace a patch with another with the library software ;)

and you can overwrite any setting ;)

  • @Aoloso Well I figured out overwriting patches but what about the ones that aren't shown on the library software. I really wanna move up the back in black and black dog ones to the front but since they are in the last 50 patches they don't show in the software.

  • what guitar are you using?

  • @joshua0226

    Hey dude,

im using an epiphone les paul standart limited edition from 1999 built in korea ;) great guitar

  • le*, but seriously Idk i might get a line 6 because the effects and i wont have to buy any. ps your fall to pieces is flawless man!!! im gonna be recording my jcm 800 4104 soon iwth a strat!! ill show you the tone

  • @joshua0226

oh yeah please do that i would hear how it sounds like, give me a video replay if you'd record it

  • Should I get a pod x3 live or a tonelab st

  • @joshua0226

    thats a good question dude.

well, the tonelab st has a tube in it, so you can get really dynamic sound of it, but the pod x3 live sounds great too.

i would say you go to the next music store and test both, because both are sounding different ;)

i think the pod x3 live has more effects and models in it and you can get more sound out of it, but i would say the tonelab has more dynamic because of its tube ;)

  • Wow excellent tone man! and nice guitar and cool bracelets. GNR rules

  • cool miss saraweger :) lg marc

  • The Hard rock/metal preset you can let the Bridge pickup nearer the strings

    (Are those Pickups Aph-1?)

  • @jimi0227311413 really ?

yeah my pickups are aph-1 :)

  • Nice Tone but you need more crunch.

  • @jimi0227311413 in which setting ?

the second setting is a low gain setting

  • I suggest buy a booster before vox st.

Anyway sounds correct direct to pc..Lacks in bass frequencies.Cheers.

  • i can have this sound, with pick up dimarzio tonezone or superdistortion, and vox tone lab ?and a les paul

  • @ampmgitar yes u can

  • hi man question ? this multt effevt is bet que digitech rp80 ?

  • wait is the tuner buttons (up/down) the preset buttons?

  • @diablo9333 yes if you push both :)

  • Hey I downloaded the manual for this to learn more about this and I am still a bit confused. I went though it and I still do not know how to change presets. Is it actually a button on the pedal or is it changed through the use of a computer?

  • @diablo9333 you can use both :)

  • what amp do you run this through?

  • @7ibanez7 hey ;)

this is line recording, directly from the tonelab to the pc

  • @Aoloso where do you hear the sound from, your computers speakers?

  • @7ibanez7 hey

i do hear the sound from my phones i connected to the tonelab (in the output) ;)

  • Hey do you think this is better than a pod?

  • @diablo9333 yeah 100% better ;)

  • Are the Seymour Duncan Alnico 2's good for tapping?

  • @diablo9333 ehm, i wouldn't say that their bad for it, but the duncans are vintage pickups, but you can tapping with these humbuckers very good ;) all that comes from your fingers not from the pickups :)

  • @Aoloso Yeah but why I say that is because I have a gibson les paul replica and the pickups suck and are really low output so when I try to tap it doesn't make any sound. Part of that is because of the action but trust me the pickups completely sucks I can play some solos without mistake but when I play them on my guitar it sounds crap.

  • @diablo9333 ah okay i unerstand.

yeah but the alnico pro 2 duncans are very good, and very flexible ;), you can play all from blues to metal with it ;) and you can definitly play tapping stuf with them ;)

  • Any luck on the 12 string preset?

  • is there a preset to make it sound like a 12 string?

  • @diablo9333 ou, thats hard, a special preset for that is not available, but i think i can try something out tomorrow ;)

  • @Aoloso thanks. It is cause I found a patience cover on a 12 string electric and boy it sounds good.

  • @diablo9333 yeah thats right, it sounds fantastic on a 12 string guitar ;)

  • @Aoloso yep.

  • At 5:13 isn't that the song from the epiphone slash commercial? I hate slash but I thought it was a must check out to see what kind of crap he uses.

  • @diablo9333 i dont know if its the song from the commercial, i just know its called "by the sword" from his new album ;)

  • @Aoloso sorry not the commercial the vid on youtube when he is testing it out.

  • Hey dude I found a pedal similar to this with USB and the guy who I found it from said with the usb he can record directly into his computer without an amp, can you do that with the vox tonelab? If you don't know can you try it out and tell me what happens?

  • @diablo9333 the tonelab st has an usb port, i can directly record into the pc WITHOUT any amps ;)

but you can also use the tonelab with an amplifier ;)

  • nvm bout the video I found where it was

  • Well if you want to. If you do show it could you make it in a video where you show your presets?

  • @diablo9333

ok i will make a video like that for you, very soon, because this week i have 4 exams at school ^^ but i will do it ;)

  • @Aoloso Thanks dude. Your settings for it are the best settings I have seen so far. I will favorite the video when you make it. I am not getting the vox tonelab st till august though when it is my b-day.

  • @Aoloso good luck on your exams too :)

  • @diablo9333

    oh thank you :)

  • I was also looking at reviews and in all of them they don't show where to switch presets. Where abouts are they?

  • @diablo9333 what do you mean dude ?

should i show you the button where i switch the preset on my tonelab ?
