  • "Ballet D'or" Translates from French as "the Golden Ballet", or "The Golden Dance". Maybe that's all life is, just a golden dance.

  • This song heals.

  • Seeing this gives even richer color to already perfect music. Seeing each musician relaxed and in his element and getting even a feel of the vibe of the studio; and the feel of the places they each go to make such incredible music. Of course it is beautiful to see Adam relaxed but focused and stretching to reach that emotion he want to express; not to mention getting to see the extra story of the facial expressions. Thank you so much.

  • "I walk along these hillsides in the summer 'neath the sunshine, I am feathered by the moonlight falling down on me."

    Murder of one

  • Does someone have the sheets or the chords for this song?

Thanks in advance! It's really amazing! There is so much feeling in Adam's singing:) Don't you think? Most musicians now can learn a lot from him..

  • Im so in love with this band. It hits me just right, I feel surreal when i listen to them

  • "beneath the dust and love and sweat that hangs of everybody, theres a dead man trying to get out"

    absoluely poetic.

  • Some are lost some are leavin'. Leave your damage behind and gone.

  • God, my heart is melting, i love his voice

  • @WhateverxxNevermind I'm officially OBSESSED with this man's voice. I even met a guy who had a voice that was similar....too bad he was an asshole. I hope to marry this voice someday.

  • no one has a gift for metaphors like adam duritz. simply the best lyricist of the last twenty plus years.

  • what are your favorite CC metaphors?

  • "And time is a number that rests on a wall" (Washington Square)

"There´s a hole in the ceiling down through which I fell" (St. Robinson in his Cadillac Dream)

"I got bones beneath my skin an mister, there´s a skelleton in every man´s house" (Perfect blue Buildings)

"I got a pair of wings for my birthday, baby and I will fall down through the sun this evening" (Hanging Tree)

"She is the film of the book of the story of the smell of her hair" (On a Tuesday in Amsterdam long ago)

    :)

  • @singingandsighing -- "[I]t's all a lot of oysters, but no pearls." (A Long December)

I'm late to the party, but that line always slays me.

  • I love this song!!!! :)

  • I'm dissappointed they didn't show them strumming the piano strings when it comes in at 4:41...

  • I've been singing more lately. I can't wait until I live in a big empty house in the woods, because then I'll be singing constantly. I need to get back to music.

  • oh, I too have a dream like that! For me it's not back, it's forward, though. I'm dying to get somewhere away from people to sing and play music. I've tried lonely roads in woods but it didn't really work in cold and wind...

  • Just do it...sing anyway!

  • Who needs to be by themselves?

    Forget nerves! Just sing!!!

  • This song sounds beautiful that it makes me want to cry. I have no idea why!
