  • Wasn't a fan of these. I don't dislike them, but they're just too pedestrian. I much preferred the short lived circles.

  • @97channel Really? They were boring. They featured people washing cars or getting on the bus. At least these were witty. In fact, I prefer these to the current set.

  • @thepod96 Yeah, I know alot of people weren't fond of the circles, but I thought they were fantastic. I can't really say a great deal as to why I did, but they just had something very clear and bold, yet avant garde, that I thought really suited the way Channel 4 was at that point.

Equally, I think these lines idents also said alot about where Channel 4 were at that time. That is, just drifting by without doing anything too daring or really knowing why they were even heading that way.

  • It's still recorded in 12th February 2003.

    #channel4

  • 3:18 4later had the very best idents.

  • Et tout le monde nagui?

  • Awww the Graham Norton playing cricket ident! Used to love that! There were a couple of version of that? Sure there was one of him bowling too...

  • The man in "Angry Man with Football"; isn't that Ed Byrne?

  • have you got the daytime ident in blue?

  • i do, but it's not very long and not especially good quality, so i didn't include it
