Hi, my wii was hardmodded, and I accidentally upgraded to 4.1 and now some of my games no longer work. So I want to downgrade to 3.2, however, I hear that during downgrade, there is a possibility of bricking it? Is this true? And what should I do in this situation then?

I must thank you again lol after doing this, most of the problems I had on 4.1 are gone. I would advise any 1 to downgrade to 3.2. It will save you alot of time and effort. Nao I can plays monster hunter 3.

yes you can, with faster loading times than the acually games on a dvd. and as far as i know it works with both games, it works for me, although im on 4.1 so im not 100% sure.

Well i had the same problem , So i installed the IOS35-64-v1040.wad using the Wad manager

Then I Ran the CMDVDX34 again and skipped the first option and clicked the patchmii one

Then everything else worked fine after that

The update removes Homebrew.

Skip the step like i did.

Try installing the wad he gave you.

I might work, I don't remember if I tried it or not. Then continue following the video.

Note: DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE.

As I said he updated his firmware from 3.2 to 4.1 which was the latest at the time.

He then downgraded it back to 3.2.

If it doesn't work, there isn't anything I can say.

No worries, you just have to delete/backup everything on your SD card and just leave the necessary apps/files.

Nobody needs to downgrade the firmware of their Wii, it is recommended to not downgrade of your Wii firmware is 4.0 or higher. All hacks work fine without downgrading, you gain nothing by downgrading, except making is easier to brick your Wii. Fair warning noobs, if you downgrade then you should NEVER accept a disc update. And quit using You Tube to do your hacking, you will learn nothing here.
