  • how about playing some chords once in awhile

  • what's the sound difference between the 2x12 and the 4x10? i know they both have different speakers. What's the tone difference between the two?

  • Flame Maple pickguard?

  • @860wakeboarder Yes...Our in store Luthier Mike Caldwell custom makes them.

  • la chitarra è orribile !

  • what are the settings on there? i cant get mine to sound nearly as good as that

  • is this amp fatter than the supersonic? especially on the high end if that makes sense?? warmer? and better for country?? sorry for all the questions its just i have went through a lot of amps..and have the supersonic but thinking of changing again. thanks

  • @TheBeechiebaby I would say it sonically is fatter than the Supersonic. The Super sonic mad more midrange presence and a tighter gain sound.. The Hot Rod 212 is warmer and has a better top end shimmer....Not say the Supersonic is great sounding just voiced different.

  • Anyone know the impedance of the effect loops on these????

  • I like This short Movie

  • Nice strat love the toggle switch split option could you tell me where to get the wiring diagram or would you have a wiring diagram for it? Duncan site only shows it with push pull pots thanks

  • Good evening I would like to know how much this is costing an amplifier to import to Brazil and the same? American, grateful

  • Should I get this or the Supersonic? The most gain im looking for is maybe Derek Trucks-ish.

  • @goldenchopsticks The Supersonic 60 watt would be great $999.00 at nstuffmusic.

  • @NstuffMusic Can I still get a Super-Sonic 60 for $999?

  • @ichibandude Yes we have one left at $999.00. If you want to order online let me know I will send you a coupon code so you can order for $999.00.

  • @NstuffMusic Can I still get a Super-Sonic for $999?

  • @NstuffMusic Are you still selling a Super-Sonic 60 for $999?

  • @goldenchopsticks I liked the Hot Rod Deville alot more when I played both at GC yesterday, the cleans on the hot rod were just far superior imo, I even liked the distortion more, but thats just my opinion.

  • I just bought this amp, im having some trouble with the footswitch. its plugged in and everything but it doesnt seem to switch channels, ive tried evrything but no luck. any ideas of what i can be doing wrong.

  • @smashapumpkin I would try a different cable for the footswitch if that doesn't work bring it to a Fender dealer and try a different footswitch.

  • nice demo right there, but i'd like hear it with some pedals in the effects loop specially hi-gain ones. tnx

  • @NstuffMusic Amazing video! I'm looking forward to picking one up really soon. I was just curious as to what I'm seeing in this version of the amp that wasn't in the version before? Thanks, again!

  • Actually I just read through the comments and replies, and you answered my questions. Thanks again.

  • @scootergomoo The Hot Rod DeVille 212 III upgrades include an easier-to-read black control panel with front-reading text, new badge, streamlined footswitch, graduated volume and treble pot tapers, and dual Celestion G12P-80 speakers. The New version sounds smoother and has a tighter low end. Our price is $799.99 but you will need a coupon code if you are ordering online at nstuffmusic. Let me know if your interested and I will get you a coupon code. Thanks

  • i didn't know Mr clean played guitar!

  • I'm looking for your review on the 1x12 version. Dud u make one? Great playing btw and which strat is that?

  • Please tell me your complete mic setup. Never mic'd before and I think it's time to learn. Mic, stand, speaker, etc.. . Please email me with this info. Thanks!

  • @MultiScoffer We used a Sennhieser E906 mic with just a regular mini boom stand. We set the mic just of the center of one of the speakers.

  • @NstuffMusic Thanks for the info. Now tell me what do you plug the mic into?

  • Im thinking about getting the 112 212 or the 410 but its just so hard to choose!

  • Could you please help me? I want to get a hot rod deville but cant decide. How does the tone differ between the 410 and the 410 III and the 212? Thanks

  • @1116marko Changes for the II seires:Tighter” overdrive and improved midrange punch. Easy reading black control panel with front reading text. Graduated volume and treble pot taper. Streamlined footswitch. The 410 has a tighter sound and is punchier. The 212 is fuller sounding more bass.

  • What do YOU prefer?

A Marshall JVM210H and cab, or a Hot Rod Deville?

  • @arthurbersanmaia Those are two completely different amps. The Hot Rod Deville doesn't have nearly the gain or channel switching options. However if your looking for a amp to use with pedals it's great. The Marshall is a bit more versatile with all the mode switching and you will not need any overdrive or distortion pedals with the Marshall. If your looking for a amp to do it all with no additional pedal's the Marshall. If your looking for a amp that takes pedals well go with the Hot Rod.

  • This amp is a great choice for modern midrange based hardrock/metal music, along with punk and so on. It is as he says, very versitile! I've got a dual rec, and i'm considering buying this amp as my practise amp..

  • how would you say it compares to a vox AC30c2?

  • @fenderrz The AC30 has a punchy sound and breaks up a little quicker has more of that British tone. The Fender is cleaner and warmer.

  • That's an interesting strat. Flame maple pickguard on a gold-burst body?

I'm not digging it one bit. It sounds pretty good, though.

  • Hey there, it sounds awsome but does it have 2 different channel option for both clean and the overdrive/more drive?

  • @damaffio yes it's 2 channel clean and dirty. Also on the dirty channel you can switch between 2 gain stages. $799.99 AT NSTUFFMUSIC

  • what was that second control switch you were messing with--the one behind the tone knob?

  • Are these made in the usa like the old ones?

  • @FriendNotFoeBand Only the original ones were made in the USA. This series and the one before it were made in Mexico. $799.00 at NSTUFFMUSIC.

  • Please, in these videos can you get to the sound. So much talk. Those specs are on the site. We can find that out.

  • Great video! How much are these selling this for?

  • @MrGuitarboy97 799.99 with free shipping at nstuff music

  • @NstuffMusic Cool, Thanks for your responce!

  • @NstuffMusic I´ve read that this amp have a solid state rectifier, does it makes it sound transistorized? please answer me, im about to buy one of these...

  • @ovocopter No they sound very warm no transistorized sound at all it's a great amp $799.99 at nstuffmusic

  • Does the clean channel break up early?

  • @guitarmanmike25 No It doesn't break up early.

  • @NstuffMusic hey bud, can you recall your settings on treb, bass, mid, and presence for some of these videos?

  • digital village are doing them £670 free delivery (15/11/10

  • i bet your bald head helps you keep you cool in the summer.

  • @yukmust bet your lame music taste makes you think your cool

  • I have a question can you tell what is a pre-out & Power Amp In used for? us see i got a friend who has this in his amp but none of us figured out what it is for

  • @SHAWNGALEADROCK That is a effects loop. It is so you can insert you effect after the preamp section and into the power section of the amp. It makes everything sound cleaner. You only want modulation style effects in the loop not preamp pedals like distortion or wah.

  • @NstuffMusic ow ic thanks alot man for the info

  • @NstuffMusic Hello! I've tried this one (212) and it's clean tone just sounded like heaven.A very deep and pure sound.A perfect clean tone(i use pedal for other effects). But there is a 410 version out too.Haven't tried it yet, but wondered if the 410 amp sounds better as the 212 amp, regarding the deep and full clean tone. I'm playing a lot of styles, especially progressive, psychedelic, pop, and some melodious metal. No funk, nor blues. Which of those two amps do you recommend me? Thank you :)

  • Excellent review Mark !! Can't make my mind up to buy this amp or a Peavey Classic 50

  • excellent mark

  • Nice demo

  • excelente!
