Animal hoarding is unbelieveably disturbing to me, not just because of one person looking after so many animals, but because of what that does to their living environment. Just seeing the homes these people live in makes me want to take a 60-minute shower. I do feel sorry for the people who suffer the addiction, though; I'm sure a lot of them are good people that just need proper care and treatment.
My aunt was one of them. She had 32 cats in her home at one time. She was in denial as well, saying those cats were her friends. I feel bad for these people because they don't see the problem they really have.

I have a dog and cat that is alot of work from cleaning up after them, to walking my dog, vet bills and the one on one attention you have to give them. However, i can understand the emotional attachment to pets!

In some ways I understand these ppl as my home has 16 cats but like some of them I didn't ask for this many and I have tryed to give some away and get the vets to help me to fix my cats but when your on a very low budget and most of your money goes to feed them theres not enough left to get them fixed and mine keep getting pregnet by the damn wild cats in my fild but no one will do anything about them and since mine may have the feli lucemia the humain society cant take no more some I'm stuck
@MsHellokitty221 Have you contacted the Feral Feline Society in your area? My sister and I found a stray mother cat and 3 kittens. We managed to get the males fixed, but it was difficult to catch the females. Our friends lent us a trap and we eventually caught them and got them spayed. I can certainly understand the price tag of having them spayed and neutered. We asked the local Feral Feline Society for help and they did help us.
i like how she said the animals were taken care of, and just a second before it showed trash bags with dead animals in them. She also said they were her babies. It's a good thing she didn't have babies, else she would have had them taken away a long time ago.

@gamer00341 your right to an extent, its true that if the care taker is able to afford to take care of the pets and make sure they don't do damage to the community around them, its should be perfectly acceptable. however when it starts to lead to death of the animals 0:38, or leads to them just being trapped in a cage all day 2:15 then its starts to be a problem and unfair to the animals.
@gamer00341 b/c its not fair to the animal!! Some animals need direct contact with their owners and there is no way if you have over 100 dogs you can spend quality time with each dog! Plus dogs should be walked everyday and that would be really hard to do with that many dogs. Plus the hygiene factor-one lady had feces stacked up in piles on her floor..that is not healthy for the animals or the person.
My friend has over 15 cats. It bothers me so much. Tho all animals are fed and in VERY good health you don't have enough love for more than a few animals at once. They'll never be properly tamed either with pack or "group" instincts.
