My idea of the Western World, Canada/Britain included, is that we are mislead by a pack of power-hungry elite who pay off the government leaders to do their dirty work. That dirty work being getting us 'dummied-down' public to agree to illegal warfare. War on resource-rich, strategic nations which the power-elite decide to create regime change, and instill their puppet government reps. The populace foot the warfare bills, and troops die.
