  • I agree with a lot of things Carlin said. However, I believe in God. Carlin claims to not believe in God. If this is the case, why would he quote Proverbs. Would that not go against his atheist argument? I love the atheist mindset, they say "God doesn't exist, but if he did". All of the atheists Will be praying to God on their deathbed.

  • why do people like george, frank zappa, terrence mckenna, bob marley, john lennon, etc... die early yet "people" like kissinger, rockefeller, soros, the stupid queen, etc.. keep ticking? just wondering

  • 00:16 Capcom cares about megaman,Sony won't screw over it's fans. 1:02 It's sad, really. 1:24 and people that do are silenced by other numbnuts. 2:14 Just isn't worth it. 2:40 what? that is funny. 3:32 -_- Seriously? 3:50 I concur. Use your common sense, kid. 4:22 I learned that at an early age. 4:52 /facepalm nowadays? 6:10 That I completely agree. 6:20 6:50 That....would not surprise me. 7:24 If anything it would be Japan for it's tech.

  • FUCK WHAT WOULD JESUS DO!!! WHAT WOULD CARLIN SAY!?!?!

  • Well,a stupid person is a happy person is a dead person, any questions?

  • Time to download, I think ^v^

  • I so understand the ridiculousness of taking off your hat for the National Anthem.

The national anthem doesn't mean shit. Even of it did, why the fuck would you have to take off your hat.

I used to get so pissed when the teacher would tell me to take off my hat.

It's like it was a crime or something.

What the fuck does that have to do with anything??? These people are just blind and stupid, and are nothing but slaves to tradition !!

  • George Carlin still rules.

  • i'm proud to be happy

  • Carlin was the master R.I.P.

  • Take off your hat .. salute the flag .. remove your shoes for the TSA .. don't question your government even though they have driven this country into severe debt and doomed our future generations. Social security is at an end and affordable health care is gone - now managed by greedy privatized companies who are run by men in pin striped suits who have four or five multi million dollar homes in all parts of the world.. while the rest of us slave away at our jobs from 9-5.. wake up!

  • if there are soo many viewers (as well as people attending and clapping to his shows) to this man who are American that happen to agree with this man with his "anti-government" "anti-war" where are they? where is their voice? Im not american so really i dont know so educate me.. Mr. Carlin presented his opinions very proudly and i admire that greatly.

  • @walaataqi Voice? We have no voice (not one that can be heard). The media in this country is owned by the same people who OWN the government that oppresses and terrorizes it's people. We live in a fucking police state. We've had our rights stripped away. I'm on a terrorist watch list because of the political party I'm registered with. Truth is, most Americans are too brainwashed or scared or apathetic to care. The education system in this country should really be called the indoctrination system

  • Right on, George!

  • haha "I was a catholic until i reached the age of reason"

  • Such a fuckin' genius! He's the reason why I've never voted and never will.

  • I think the only ´´good´´ thing about george dying way to young is that he didn´t turn into a vegetable living on machines and stuff.he was 100% right in his mind and had a good head on his shoulders.and that´s how we gonna remember him forever...as the best comedian ever!!!

  • "Being Irish isn't a skill.. it's a fucking genetic accident"

    This man, was a legend.

  • Bullshit=Bushshit

  • wow ppl actually dislike this................come on ppl wipe your eyes from bullshit, George only spoke truths

  • 04:25

  • Puerto Rican pride?

  • @divinemadness2 so your saying that you entirely trust the government? people are too fuckin patriotic these days. george carlin wasnt just a comedian he was a philosopher and people who dont want to listen to this are the exact people hes preaching about: people who only want quick satosfaction

  • divi

  • bullshit, i question EVERYTHING!!! you should sit down with me at the kitchen table and have a talk! haha. my first question to you would be, "how much time ya got?" lol. not ALL of us are totally ignorant! shufflin down fast food garbage, watchin trash tv, paying attention to only what is goin on with american idol, or kardashian! fuck stupidity, question everything and learn correctly!!

    BE SMART!!!!!!! THATS IT!!!

  • This and the Movie Happily N'Ever After is all he left us with to remember this guy by. It's sad that he died.

  • I'm 13 and I question almost everything adults tell me XD

  • @invisiblepopcornmonk you're such an enlightened rebel.

  • @hiphopliver Are you being sarcastic? :P

  • He said he called Bush Governor Bush because that's the only office he held "legally." Is he saying the use of electoral college in presidential elections is "illegal"? I understand healthy skepticism but this old man is going overboard dissing the government and every institution in America. I would have rather seen him perform great comedy (which he was certainly capable of performing) rather than do this endless preaching.

  • @Divinemadness2

Bush's cousin fixed the votes for him. Sounds crazy, well; we all know Bush was stupid, and desperate.

  • @Divinemadness2 Bush illegally stole both the 2000 and 2004 elections, research it. He never should have been president for either term.

  • @Divinemadness2 You didn't understand.

  • If your in a time of doubt, ask yourself this question;

    What Would George Carlin Do?

And the answer is FUCKING THINK IT THROUGH.

  • I know George is in the arms of Our (my father who is in Heaven)....please don't be angered. We all have our point of view...peace

  • ...and they come to shows like this :Dd

  • RadioShack, I think. HA!!

  • He doesn't believe in God, but yet he says never forget proverbs. Can anyone explain that?

  • @mhudson2010 Have you read the bible? It may lead people on to believe some bullshit but there is a bit of wisdom and truth in there. Just like the Quran. Mostly bullshit but some wisdom.

  • @Zooligable when did you read Quran?

  • @mhudson2010 I can explain mhudson2010. See according to the New Oxford American Dictionary a proverb is "a short pithy saying in general use, stating a general truth or piece of advice," which has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. Where did you get the idea to associate proverbs strictly with biblical verse? You need to use the dictionary often because apparently you do not know the meaning of the word "proverb" which you assumed you had.

  • QuestionEverything.

  • 7 dis-like votes? how the fuck can you not like our man George Carlin? especially this show. well show. for some this is pure academic.. as in some REAL life lessons. to wake them up. this shit should be played every channel over the radio every week. man, god bless you Carlin hope you are in a wonderful place up there (yes i was just joking). though i believe in higher power(s) it doesnt matter. he was and is a good man. energy never get lost. much love.

  • I have a cellphone that rubs my balls...I don't get pancakes though D:

  • I listened to this guy on Thomas The Tank Engine and now I'm listenin to him on comedy speaking the truth. So favoring this!

  • RIP, you were a true teacher. you used your talent to wake people from their slumber.

  • maybe its because God is too busy making fucking huge-ass cosmic bodies of mass that could incinerate Earth if too close. i think God would at least want us to appreciate the nature of the universe rather than fight over his attention

  • will anyone tell me where i can get this pancake making ball rubbing cell phone?

  • @TheHurff the best re-quote ever

  • @TheHurff WalMart.

  • @TheHurff your mommy can help rub your balls and make you pancakes

  • @TheHurff Sorry, they're all sold out!

  • @TheHurff t-mobile,IT'S EXPENSIVE

  • Comment removed

  • @TheHurff I'll sell you one

  • @TheHurff

    There's an app for that.

  • @TheHurff Verizon! LOL

  • This makes me sad.. Such an absolute genius, yet these last two specials he just looks and sounds like a grumpy old man bitching and moaning.. It's not funny to me.. :(

  • @Dweller777 He was done joking. Listen, he knew things were coming to a head and that in a few years he was going out. He chose to make sure people got the message, that he wasn't just some funny guy "anymore." he was old, he'd played the game. He is a grumpy old man bitching and moaning, but it's the truth. To sum all up, this isn't funny because he's talking about the government: It's bullshit and it's bad for ya.

  • don't get me wrong, i love George as much as the next person, but the whole hat thing kinda gets me. it's about respect, not just for the flag, but for those that died defending our right to fly it... just sayin.

  • TOK BITCHES

  • I got such a chuckle out of George's comment that First Lad yBarbara Bush did so well teachingson George junior to read, that they gave her the assignment of 'getting children to read'. lol

George Carlin was ahead of his time.

  • @TheOnlyJoeDavis He was an unusual American because he had somehow gotten beyond the manipulation of the White House spin and media hype....and could actually "think"

I was amazed at the Superbowl TV production incorporating "pro-war, pictures of America's fighting force, and political advertisements" while introducing the game. Even had a football player shedding tears while the national anthem was being sung. In my eyes being non-sectarian and not too patriotic is a way to stay healthy.

  • @Chidanandaji The football player was probably crying because he was so happy to be at the Superbowl.

  • @MIKEAGGAN I got a chuckle from your comment.

And now our troops are collecting opium for the Corporate Oligarchy.

In honor of those troops who have brought this to the world's attention, I compiled a blog titled: "US Troops Protect Afghan Opium Fields - by Bill Woollam" Just Google that.

Why do we allow the US Administration to profit off of Afghan opium fields?

inevitably will go on the market for 19 million dollars a barrel.

  • @Chidanandaji I don't see what was humorous about my last comment, cause I seen that happen every Superbowl, they are so happy and emotional they cry. Now why do us Americans allow the US Administration to profit off of Afghan opium fields? The answer I give is... We as Americans are too much of pussies to ask questions to our government and rally and riot, we would rather see what charlie sheen is up too, Why do Americans allow the TSA pat downs at the airports? America is too scared to stand

  • @Chidanandaji up to mommy and daddy America.

  • @MIKEAGGAN American government.

  • @Chidanandaji who the F is Bill Woollam and why do I give a F what he thinks?

  • @Chidanandaji can you imagine how many people like him are in this world? hopefully this will make you understand why the US isnt so popular nowadays.....

  • @sebaz1982 I would surmise that it is the American 'corporate-friendly' Administrations that are not popular nowadays....the dummied-down public who actually take seriously mainstream news productions are not to blame....they are just brain-washed, purposefully misinformed and lied to on a daily basis.

I finally posted a blog titled: "How The World Works - Two Videos by Bill Woollam" Just Google that if you are interested.

I also posted "The Battle For Libyan Oil Fields -by Bill Woollam"

  • @Chidanandaji The irony being that your idea of every American comes from what your country's media tells you. How sad.

  • @tyrannasaurasalan Actually, just the opposite. My idea of the Western World, Canada/Britain included, is that we are mislead by a pack of power-hungry elite who pay off the government leaders to do their dirty work. That dirty work being getting us 'dummied-down' public to agree to illegal warfare. War on resource-rich, strategic nations which the power-elite decide to create regime change, and instill their puppet government reps. The populace foot the warfare bills, and troops die.

  • @Chidanandaji that superbowl theater is propaganda, pure and simple. it works well with a nation of depressed sheep

  • No one question things in the rest of the fucking world

    No one

  • "The Silver Douchebag...." priceless....

  • "everyone's got a cell phone that'll make pancakes and rub their balls" <3

  • When I die fuck heaven, I wanna go to hell!!

  • your comedy set the standards gorgey ya old bastard hope yur havin fun with Pryor n kinnison and the rest of em up there rest in peace !!

  • "Never forget proverbs"?

  • ''It's all bullshit folks, it's all bullshit and it's bad for ya!''

George Carlin ladies and gentlemen! ! !

He'll never die! ! ! Oh and how is possible that 6 people disliked this vid? :?

  • ''It's all bullshit folks, it's all bullshit and it's bad for ya!''

George Carlin ladies and gentlemen! ! !

    He'll never die! ! !

  • the funny thing is, all these people who support "questioning everything" and "questioning authority", completely dropped all that soon as Obama was elected. George Bush massively and revoltingly expanding the power of governemnt? Bad! Obama doing the same thing? Hey, stop questioning everything Obama does you dumb Tea bagger!

  • @StatelessEuphoria

Ok I just have to step in here and point out that you are arguing in favor of not questioning authority. I don't think there is a way of expressing just how dumb that position is. Wait...but you are questiong Obama...so wait err...what exactly is your position on this? You really haven't got a clue what you are saying do you? Oh you just don't like people questioning Republicans....thats it. Dumb ass.

  • @arizonabay6

Wow, you have zero reading comprehension. I didn't exactly praise bush now did I?

  • Those haters on George Carlin, have no life worth living. George took life around us, made it plattable and halirious. And if was real, he wouldn't of let George Carlin die. Even god has a sense of humor, just look at yourself. R.I.P George Carlin

  • @RedFaux91 I agreed but realistically, he couldn't have lived forever and 71 years is a long life so... He's resting in peace hopefully :)

  • @spirit172 You sound like a complete jerk off, I would be ashamed to call you my brother.

  • @spirit172 If scripture is true then God is real...

  • I wish I could thank George for making me laugh hysterically, but also making me realize the truth about all the bullshit in the world. Thanks to George, I find myself questioning things a lot more than I used to.

  • Fastblade113 That proverb comes from Aesop's fables.

  • I love George Carlin but I am also a Christian. I'm just wondering, if he doesn't believe in God, why is he quoting scripture from God's book? He quoted proverbs 16:18

  • @Fastblade113 "

Full-stocked folds had the Fatling's sons,

who bear now a beggar's staff:

brief is wealth, as the winking of an eye,

    most faithless ever of friends."

Does the fact that I jus' quoted the Hávamál mean I believe in Oden?

  • @Fastblade113 I wondered the same thing and came to the premise that he read it and simply didn't believe.

  • @MCHellraiser88 Then why is he telling us to remember proverbs? That doesn't add up

  • Proud To Be 5'11! Whoo hoo!

  • Hahahahahaha,IRISHS ARE THE SHIT!

  • Imagine if this guy had a "boost" when he was real fucking young.

  • Pray in your closets, not on the streets. This isn't the crowd to preach to.

  • I wish they would show this the first time I went into high school

  • I think, Camel76 is kinda misplaced among Carlin fans. I am fine with religious Freaks as long as they keep it to themself. Please stop Your mindless parroting of empty Phrases.

  • UNITED STROKES OF AMERICA!!

  • ok this is fucking bullshit. stop fucking complaining about religion and enjoy the god damned comedy. I'm sure george carlin didn't want his comedy acts to turn into some cyber religous war bullshit.

  • 8:35 So true

  • i believe in god but i also believe in george carlin. people like carlin and bill hicks weren't blinded by the ignorance that seems to affect most religious people and so were able to see the fucked up things christians and muslims did and attack them for it. i dont get offended i encourage it.

  • Fuck god and anyone that looks like god

  • genius, we need genius's in this country.

  • if only we would cease to put God in a human image ....Love One another ... enough said <3 LovePeace

  • @mykcheck1212

    God is not in everything.

That is a false hippie idealogy.

For every action their is a reaction.

And it is definitely not an "illusion."

    Please wake and grow up.

  • @Camel76 And i'm not referring only to crazy muslim manbombs, but any sort of religious nut that has the nerve and arrogance to tell someone they absolutely know the creator of the universe and have a direct hotline to his office and get offended when they are asked for some sort of verifiable evidence about it. It is condescendent, and ironically, goes against one of the supposed "values" christians think they have: being humble.

  • @hellhammerz666

The Bible tells us to be bold witnesses for Him.

It's not pride, what you're doing is pride and you're denying God which will land you in hell.

  • God never said He loved everyone or everyone equally.

God is angry with the wicked every day.

    Also, God hated Esau.

  • @Camel76

'God' IS everyone and everything. Reality is just one consciousness playing different parts to get lost in itself and keep itself busy. So all your fear based perceptions are irrelevant. Stop worrying and making arbitrary distinctions and realise it's all just an illusion and nothing ultimately has any intrinsical meaning or consequences.

  • @Camel76 If i was your god, i'd be fucking pissed off at your fellow zealot extremists for using my name as a corporate trademark trying to justify anything, no matter how fucked up it is, or even shoving false knowledge down people's throats. Fortunately for you, that god has done very little (or nothing) to proof his existance anyways, so you can continue being an ignorant fool and get away with it.

    Joe bless you, "kind" sir.

  • @hellhammerz666 You're think about TBN and people like Joel Osteen.

    They aren't Christians.

They will be dealt with eventually. Count on it.

  • @Camel76 What level of condescendence do you need to say you know for certain there's a hell where your "loving" imaginary skyfather will send me if i don't lick his balls? YOu believe that bullshit because you are scared about what happens after you die. You are selfish, and behave just because you think you can get spanked at the other side if you don't behave properly.

What about Muslims, or Buddists, Hindus. What tells you that your fairytale is more believable than theirs?

  • @hellhammerz666 You're condesendening and a liar.

The Muslims merely rewrote the Bible in their image.

He is loving. Peope who deny God and His Son deserve hell.

  • @Camel76 As for me, i don't need an imaginary policeman to look on me to behave properly. I do what i feel is right because i KNOW i'm accountable to the people i live with, and not to some imaginary skydaddy that doesn't even show himself up (hence, imaginary). Would an atheist that lived his life properly being a good person be punished after by your imaginary friend? If that's the case, i'm glad im not accountable to him, because he's a fucking jackass, and i want nothing to do with him.

  • @hellhammerz666

You just want to deny God and His Son so you can do as YOU see fit.

Why follow the rules of mere men then? Why not disobey police, politician, and everyone?

God doesn't have to show Himself to arragant people who only want to whine and make up excuses.

You're accountable and one day will be cast into the lake of fire forever, unless you repent and humble yourself before an Almighty God.

  • @Camel76 So Camel Do you really think that an all Knowing all forgiving God will condemn all non believers to eternal damnation? That just because we questioned the existance of an extremely unlikely higher force of which there is absolutely no evidence whatsover we're doomed? If he did exist I'd deny all christians entry to heaven on the basis that they did'nt use an ounce of reasoning to question why we are here. If he's gonna condemn us for mere reasonable thinking then sod him anyway.

  • @gurufish9 There's plenty of evidence.

You and others just choose to deny.

Yes, God has every right to judge anyone the way He sees fit.

Christians do think, reason, and question things.

  • @gurufish9 You're wasting your "breath" they will not... ever... get it. It's truly amazing the mind of a brainwashed human, it's just astounding the fact that they continue to defend some deity, a "god" who is too afraid to show himself and has self-esteem issues where he needs to do tests to make sure you still believe. Trust me, if there was a "god" we'd have seen him by now. If he's there then let that son of a bitch show himself.

  • @Camel76 I don't believe in God and His Son and I'm a perfectly Moral person...

  • @radafat

    No one is perfect.

So, you better repent and believe in Jesus Christ.

  • @Camel76 If no one is perfect, then Jesus is imperfect too. And I don't get it, what do I have to repent for? And is god that narcissistic and selfish that he wants us to dedicate our lives to worshipping him?

  • @radafat

No one is perfect, as in humans.

God is perfect and so is His Son.

God isn't a narcissistic nor is He selfish.

His ways are not our ways and you will just have to accept that.

You need to repent of your sins and of your denial of God for so long.

  • @Camel76 GOD AND ALL OF RELIGION IS A CROCK!!!

  • @kiba344

    So, you think.

I say it is fine, as long as it is Christianity.

  • @Camel76 if god were actually so great and perfect, he wouldn't give a shit about some guy not believing in him. that kind of behavior IS narcissistic, selfish, and megalomaniacal. its funny how you religious folk dont even bother making sure your arguments are self consistent

  • @1992dsy

But...you have no idea what you're talking about.

God wouldn't create us if He didn't expect us to worship Him.

  • God does care.

  • He's not just talking about the government here, Chester.

  • " remember barbara bush?

i call her the silver duschbag "

  • thats funny but what does it mean

  • it means that we are all idiots!!!! And we are enslaved wake the fuck up!!!

  • @macsonygeek if you have to ask, chances are you just won't 'get it'.... ever.

Sorry, but that's just the way it's going to be

  • genius...visionary...

  • If there is a god I believe he must have been George Carlin while he was on earth.

  • @Neil6000 I always thought god would be a mix of Eric Cartman and George Carlin!

  • @Neil6000 sounds like b.s. LOL

  • @Neil6000 He died therefore he is not god.

  • @MrCollegeEater

"He died therefore he is not god."

    So did Jesus...XD

  • @Neil6000

There is truth in that. thank you.

And thank you George Carlin for everything. You were and ARE RIGHT about everything!

  • @Neil6000 George Carlin didn't believe in God, but I think God believes in George Carlin.

  • come on man, it's for the lulz

  • I don't. Zombies aren't very good at stand up.

  • It's all bullshit, and it's bad for ya.

Most important quote of our time.

  • @imover18gotityube

yeah - at some points I use it as my desk top background on my PC at work.

Of course, it's a bit distorted and numbers are used in some places as letters...

but the message is still there...

even if most are so dumb they can't decipher it.

  • Good ol George what a great talent ! I don't agree with everything he says (most of it though) but the main point he makes is to THINK !!! and you can't argue with that

  • hahaha bullshit dedector.. i need that...

  • we ALL do, friend !

  • George Carlin is a legend. He is one of the courageous enough to speak the truth!!Thank you George so much.......No one wants to rock the boat and question anything...when people hear words like values, children, feelings, god, religion, pray, feel sorry and other condescending bullshit they just stop thinking...wake up!!!

  • If there are any comedians alive who come close to this man, please let me know...

  • doug stanhope

  • none that i can think of. the reason for that is that all the other comedians have funny stories and anecdotes and whatnot but its not like this man who was so true and logical the way he aproached everything(but i do love jim gaffigan just thought id throw that out here)

  • Everyone has a cell phone that makes pancakes and will rub their balls

  • I use that when i talk to politics and people i meet on the street. There is no god but George is the closest you can get :P
