Thanks for posting this video. I've seen on where the hairstylist brushed the adhesive into the hairline, which just lacks common sense.

Nobody in their right mind should allow the glue to go into their hairline, thinking that it will not pull hair out when the wig comes off, because it will.

These wigs are beautiful and can enhance anyones beauty. However, the hair underneath still needs to be cared for.

I currently use Mr. C's Spirit Gum. I have heard positive things about the Mastix P. On the average, what is the average "hold" time? Great video.

I had a problem with the spirit gum i just got done with applying my sisters lace frontal but we had to put alot of it on and then it didnt hold the greatest but maybe it's due to us leaving her baby hair in tact maybe that's the varying factor, could that be?

The worst thing people do is use more. In the video the q-tip is not wet it is damp. all baby hairs have to be clipped out of the way so that they won't be ruined. Also Elitelace carries stronger spirit gum for longer and stronger holds.

Using this spitit gum product - do you not need to use tape as well? Or is this just a one step application?

you can wear spirit gum on its own. There is no need use tape.

Thanks for the great video. What I wanted to find out as well is does it have to be mastix spirit gum or can it be any brand of spirit gum? Also how long does the spirit gum stay on for? I am getting my first wig soon and hope I get get it to stay on for a week. I was going to get mity tite but this glue looks good too.

where do set lace wigs hair line??? right at your hair line, above hairline, alittle behind...and placement of temple area.... do yo cut as close as you can with the lace??? what happens if lace tears?.......nice video though..... but need more.

you have to set it on what looks good for you. usually right in front of your hairline. It NEVER goes on your own hair. There is a video on how to cut the lace. You want to be careful not to tear the lace. Many companies don't do repairs or find that it takes to long to repair your unit.

The hold is different for everyone. However average hold is 4 to 10 days.
