  • thanks for putting this ... i live in egypt and i can't see his show but i love him a lot

    you really made it easier

  • Sometimes he gets real serious and breaks the comedy act speaks of a real issue but then follows it up with a crowd pleasing joke he's a great entertainer my personal favorite talk show host

  • god, this guy has more concern for fairness and logical consistency than 95% of our politicians

  • I love how Craig really considers himself an American. Technically he is, but most immigrants aren't this serious about it. I love him.

  • I just think he's real. Letterman and Conan and Leno... just feel like they're at work.

  • Please join my Facebook group "Give Craig Ferguson an Emmy for The Late Late Show!!" ;) You can also follow me on the twitter: @MsFredriksson

  • If Jesus Had a Favorite Comedian, It would Be Craig.

  • @Lordgeek4 craig is jesus

  • Love Craig. Better than all of them. Best late night! Thanks for posting this.

  • I think Craig is smarter than the average comedian, but I find his analysis of the democracy/capitalism dichotomy a bit dubious.

  • A little simplistic maybe, but what did you expect? This was a comedy show after all!

  • I think this guy is way funnier then leno and letterman put together. I love this guy.

and his accent is sexy too :o)

  • @Pam4Rob You know what it is? he works at it. Not too hard, but he puts the effort in, Leno and Letterman have been coasting mouth pieces to writers trying to get their wings for close to a decade each.

  • but he is british he was born in scotland and that is a part of the UK so how is he considered american what i am saying is you are where your born i am british an proud of it i am not anti-american if any ex- pats can explain would be greetful thanks

  • GO SCOTLAND

  • There is this thing called a citizenship test. He took it and passed. He's not ashamed of being European. He still makes jokes about it, but he is proud of being an American as well.

  • why, is there people that are ashamed to be european? what am i missing

  • AAAnd he's working in the US sooo he can't afford to sound anti-american or as if he's not fascinated by his citizenship :) but i like that he always says in between " I'm European...." :)

  • If he were anti-American he wouldn't have bothered becoming a US citizen. His show was doing perfectly fine before becoming a citizen, so he didn't do it for a ratings boost, if that's being implied. In response to ducksoup2007, I would say that you are who you choose to be. Ferguson doesn't neglect or deny his Scottish upbringing, but he has chosen to be an American.

  • I felt the same way about American Idol!

  • the video freezes at 5:21

aside from that, this is one of my favorite monologues.

  • Craig your hating the wrong people, they where all føcked by the flawd system, your right they should have been left out to dry. So that the system could be rebuilt (hopefully better)

Now I will go back to the world where Craig doesnt read all the comments on all the youtube videos he stars in...

  • "Now I will go back to the world where Craig doesnt read all the comments on all the youtube videos he stars in..." what's that about?

  • Nice ID!!

  • Every day with a bit of Craig is a better day! Thanks so much RoQu3tO for posting! You're doing a lot for the mental health of the planet!!!

  • ILY Craig! Haha.

    xO

  • watch?v=CGP22ffs4i4

    watch?v=CGP22ffs4i4

  • anyone have his monologue from Monday October 6 2008?

  • wtf? Did someone remove all the Craig Ferguson videos?

Search for "Craig Ferguson" and arrange it by "Date Added", and after a couple of videos, it goes back to a year. o.O

  • Forget the $3600 for every American, figure it out as $7200 for every taxpayer.

So...lets forget the lousy $300 rebate thingy.

Lets give every taxpayer $7200 right now and we'll spend our way out of this mess!

  • I love Craig :) He's a good citizen.

One disagreement - we do not live in a capitalist society. Capitalism can only exist in free market and we do not have a free market (Ex. NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO, IMF, WB, Federal Reserve, Bailouts) - we live a corporatism, which is a hallmark of fascism. Corporatism is evil - not capitalism.

  • Well said.

  • That's the way, Craig! You tell them! I love this show.

  • hahah . .. LOL

    Definitely!

    woo... hooo... lol

  • Financial instituations took all the risks they took because they knew they could never fail. This script has been written before. This happened in 1988 when the savings & loans failed and the government bailed them out then. The problem with this bailout is that the banks will get to write off entire loans and receive more than market value for the property they hold. So the banks will turn a profit for failure. Wow.

  • I don't want Ferguson hardly at all. I've peeked in a few times... I wish he was funny like this all the time!

  • I think he's pretty funny most of the time, if not all the time...

  • he became a citizen in january of this year

  • i <33333333333333333 craig ferguson!!!!!!! this is one of the best monolouges ive ever seen him do

  • haha, hes so funny

  • I love you americans i realy do!

"If you were a real American you'd know that!" i thought your whole country was about diversity..

but your still a bunch of twats.

  • Thanks for "you're" brilliant assessment, but please stop pairing the sane part of America with the crazy part. It's already hard enough trying to repair this place without neanderthals like danthemankhan stinking it up even more.

  • Notice the accent. He's from another country. In fact, he just become citizen a 2-3 years ago.

  • It's just a joke! Not a documentary! A joke!

  • Yes, I remember the canonization of Ronald Reagan in 2004. Almost as sickening as the praise that was heaped on Nixon after his passing. Considering the fact that this economic meltdown was put into motion during the Reagan years, perhaps we should have been dancing in the streets in 2004.

  • Ferguson is just amazing!! I couldn't have said it any better myself. There need to be more ppl in world like him.

  • I agree. Craig is a classy, bright, witty, and magnificent entertainer. Thanks for posting this.

  • This is another reason why Craig is such a classy comedian. He's a funny guy but he's extremely classy and outspoken towards the right thing. I just can't believe there's not more people as awesome as he is on these kinds of issues. He always makes the right points.

  • whoa wat happened 5:19-30??!

  • It must be a glitch in the transfer, I saw this last night and there were no problems.

  • aw...i figured

  • Craig for president!!!

  • The bail out. "I hate this!" I'm with you Craig.

If Bush wants to bail out his fat cat donors on Wall Street, BAIL ME OUT ON MY LAW SCHOOL LOANS!!!!!!!!!

Or bail out families facing foreclosure.

  • Thanks for posting this. He (and Letterman before him, for a change!) was on FIRE last night!

  • Thank you RoQu3tO, much appreciated.

  • Man, he's on fire! That's like 3 magnificent monologues in 2 weeks!

  • Even Craig gets what Obama and McCain fail to understand.

  • go craig! i really admire him for expressing his opinions. maybe some more people should listen to them.

  • Good job Craig
