Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
If we all have to sacrifice some civil liberties in the name of national security/fighting terrorism, why can't we as a country make a collective sacrifice to provide our entire society with good health? When did the ideas of making America a better place and being good to each other become a non-starter?
your skin looks like it was peeled from the rumps of cherubs and your chin looks like the butt hole of God... gloooorious.... glorious message... glorious lighting... glorious color pallet
these ears are not deaf, your plea falls on it with grace..... soft gloooorious grace
not grace slick, no..... not a slop-mess like that
not grace jones, no!... not hard like that
but grace kelly..... except not as bitchy, gold digging and uptight
(cont'd from before) that they do not, yet those stories are just presented as sad outliers, not a symbol of what's happening to most of us. Whereas the idea of the military is already established as protecting our Nation, even though it's more just about protecting certain interests. To make that shift in thinking, there has to be evident need to change, and that will have to come from the people who have healthcare and feel it's not enough for THEM & thus want change... did i just agree w u?
A sincere and clear plea for a paradigm shift, Chuck, but isn't it still all about appearances? Meaning, yes the branches of the military "protects us all" but we know they weren't busting ass to get down to New Orleans to help out. The same goes with healthcare, in order to truly have a shift in thinking about healthcare, there has to be the notion that that change is required. The thinking now is that people get help when they REALLY need it, i.e. ERs and whatnot, when the truth is (cont'd)

Dude, put down the bong and pick up a book!
I can see the bong hits in your eyes.
I hope you have gone back and listen to this yourself.
