Having worked on test ranges, the target is a minimum of one mile out. In last sequence I estimate 4 seconds from launch to impact. ~1300 fps or ~1.2 mach. No you could not hear missle if sound was recorded at target but far shy of who ever said 6.5 mach. BTW there is a mach hypervolosity missle beign developed.
