Reagan had a date with destiny and he knew it. Even before the attempt on his life. It's why he was so confident, faithful and determined. If God be with you, who can be against you. I loved that man and miss him.

Reagon won hearts and love by doing simple things. He spoke directly to the people. He spoke on their level, about things they understood. He NEVER took credit for anything, and he ALWAYS praised the people of the country and those that worked for him. He said that the people of the country were the heroes and the power behind everything great... and MEANT IT. No dimwitted democrat has been able to say that in decades.
