Looks jus' like every steel beach we had in the Pacific, IO, an' everywhere else. Makes me almost homesick for that ugly hunk o' aluminum and steel....almost.

I was on the Crom '85-'90 and '94-'97. Arrived as EW3 and left as EWC. EW doesn't even exist anymore.

There is only one Frigate, and that is the USS Gary (...as seen in the Hunt for the Red October. Rueban James? I think not! FFG-51 BABY!) Question. Steel beach picnic while floating around the Hawaiian islands? Using cellphones while underway? Crommelin = The Love Boat.

I think you mean "steel" beach. For the uninitiated, it's usually on the stern or "fantail". On the Crommelin, it's also the helicopter flight deck.

I was onboard the Crommelin from 1984-86. It rides very well due to fin stabilizers.

1996- 2001..always had fin stabilizer problems on the crom. I think KIA built the crommelin..LOL
