How does the 954 handle? I have a 600 right now and it just doesn't have enough power! Does it handle like a heavier bike, or is it similar to the weight of a 600?
Thanks for uploading your video. Read your comments and I hear what you're saying. Learning to ride with that aggressive style is a good thing, now I bet you temper it to suit the circumstance. It's just another tool in your box to use when needed. Keep riding safe and see you out there!
But then again the ones leaving shitty posts are usually the ones who have never even riden a motorcycle or crash so often that they feel to be toughguys when leaving messages critiquing peoples riding when they themselves can't even control a motorcycle...case in point....your screenname Krash6420....thanks and have a great day......
I only hope you people commenting that I am "not going fast enough" have learned this lesson. If not so be it, eventually you will see the light. As for the shitty comments, I really don't care, because I believe that the rider you see in this video is no longer me, with a lot of track time and a lot of coaching I have become very confident on the track and would run against any one of you so you could attempt to put your money where your mouth is on any road course closed course racetrack.
@rouns22 I think you did fine on that road bro. I bobble here and there at times too, and I've been riding for years. So what. Who cares. As long as you're having fun, and riding. That's what matters the most to me.
To bad California doesn't have road like that to ride. I'd be calling in sick more on the days where it's sunny and warm. If you know what I mean.
for starters, this video is from two years ago, and at the time I had just started riding twisties. Yes looking at this video I realize how back then I needed to work on some things, since then I have done just that. Today...many trackdays later I have realized one thing, save the fast riding for the track. Its not worth taking it to the street and dealing with the possible consequenses to follow from one mistake. From a ticket, to a crash to the worst case being killed.
sorry to say this but your riding skills not up to par for deals gap yet you need some time in the saddle before you tackle this awesome road go a little slower but get your self setup properly for your turns anytime your crossing the centre line your riding over your head sooner or later u will pay the price krash 6420t
Nice video guys. Nothing like coming out of those turns in 2nd and hitting it hard... I love my 954.. I don't want a newer bike at the moment. They are just great!
I have nothing bad to say about the 954rr, its a great bike. Although I did sell it and move on to an 08 gsxr 750, and I must say I love the handling of the gsxr. Can't wait to take it to the dragon,
I've got the 02 954 in the faster red paint scheme. This is probably one of the most comfortable sport bikes I've ever ridden. It does everything well and has looks that still gets attention over the newest bikes.
i have a 954rr love it i ve rode gsxr 1000s ducatis nothing even compares to the way the bike streches the rider out and balances the riders weight by far the best cornering bike i have ever owned are you running a 190 or 200 on the rear it looks like a 200 could be wrong though
amazing riding!

How would you rate the 954 vs the 600rr in corners does it feel as stable and easy to turn?
RamAir46 2 years ago
Hey, yeah I love the bike too but was looking to get something else, cant sell it though so I'm stuck with her, I am running a 190 on the rear.
