The world must know that Felipe Calderon is one of the worst presidents Mexico has ever had in all its history. So far 30 000 mexicans have died since he started office in 2006, implementing a disastrous war against organized crime. He is a stubborn clumsy moralist and will shed more blood so as to stop drug comsumption and trafficking. One of Mexico's biggest assets for decades was his peaceful way of life. Now all that is gone in only 4 years. Calderon should resign and be put in jail.
Calderon almost cry at the begining lol, the truth is that calderon is a murder in Mexico, he is doing something called "war against narco", but he is looking for some recognition of the people without success. calderon is called "spurious" in Mexico because he stole the elections in 2006. He was called "the president of the employment" but in fact, since he is president there are almost 4 million of unemployed people in mexico.
He doesn't know the mexican reality. He spends the people's money in big parties, big cars, luxury houses and travels around the world on "diplomatic tours" while the country needs investments on land, houses, social security, enviroment, etc...
This president didn't even won the elections, it was a fraud like the way it used to be on the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s in Mexico.
Listen how good Mexico is doing... one of the best countries in the world to invest in... our drug industry (drug cartels, that is) is not doing very good right now, but the kidnapping industry is BOOMING !!! Mexico is probably number one in the world when it comes to kidnapping. World !!! Here we come !!!!
The ex-mexicans in the US resent the whole things because of their poor background while the rest of the world somehow believes all the marketable propaganda of american media, while the normal mexicans "those in mexico" look at it trivially. I have a maid who claims to be poor in my all american, yet common mexican home but she does work just a little every week and enjoy life just like i do and a a lot of mexicans as well. Media Here. Some GDP's for whole areas are just like those in europe.

Nighter under FOX nor now will he manage to produce a new energy policy! new salinas!
you have no idea. My parents pay for all my expenses for studying in edmonton and i''m kind of a normal citizen in mexico. you're getting the wrong media effect. poor and rich down there. Consider cities with GDPs like south america and other ones like in GErmany or New Zealand.
oh my god you guys are a bunch of complainers. the World wasn't made in one day. Mexico is becoming a great nation. There is a price for every good thing. You just watch, in 20 years Mexico is going to be a nation to recon with.
Not with a represantative sistem that only represents small groups.. there has been a huge electoral fraud.. lots of political prisioners... mexico is becoming a worse place ... at the goberment level
You are right!! In 20 years Mexico will be a great place!! The thing is, we won't have a PAN, PRI or PRD government.
By 2010 there's going to be a big fiesta, like a hundred or 2 hundreds years ago, then we will have a new government that will bring us to social justice and universal bliss...
I would say, you should do some research before talking about things you dont know.
In mexico people work max. 8hrs a day. In case u have to work extrahours then you get paid double per each hour but this happens rarely. Minimum salary might not be perfect yet, but you should always considerate things according to the country. Food among other things are much cheaper in Mexico if you compare.
And one of our problems is the lazy people sitting in the congress doing nothing for the country.
food is way way more expensive in mexico since workers spend a major percent of their poor income to buy the minimum to survive. Employers can (And do) change their employes contracts every six months so the workers don´t get any rigth to health or other law written services. we (workers) are suposed to wrok 8 hoyrs..but we are forced to work even twice taht without extra paying...or loose our sad works
You might as well do some research too, nobody works 8 hours a week but the most fortunate, and minimum salary is nowhere near perfect if you realize that food prices are almos unreachable relative to it. Only about the lazy senadores and diputados you have it right.
Felipe Calderon wants to make Mexico the best place to invest???? Minimum wage in Mexico is 60 cents/ h , but they have some of the richest people in the world. Mexicans have to work 12 hrs a day just to have access food. Obviously if you keep paying people 60 cents per hour they will bring slavery jobs. How Mexico can have the richest man in the world and many millionaires and the rest of Mexicans get pay 60 cents.
Well, we do need investment to develope jobs, of course our minimum wage is not where it should be, but it is also a simbolic number. While our salary conditions are way far from the US, very few people make the minimum salary. There´s a labor reform in process to make our policies more realistic but still it´s not the president´s decision to make but the congress´. The back problem is our lousy sence of labour starting from the bussiness men to the working men. We lack of a true laboral culture
Which people?, which of his policies are to be suffered? He´s working fine and he is doing a good job. Still Mexico is not going to solve its problems during his administration, nor the next ones, it takes a lot of time to make a profound change. Mexico´s worst enemy is itself, we have a cultural problem which can be solved only by a collective will. A single man cannot move a mountain.
We the Mexicans do not recognize this guy as our president We know he was imposed there and we know who did it ... Mexico don't have a real government BUT WE WILL!
Mexico makes a revolution each 100 years and NOW IS TIME FOR THE THIRD ONE!...
We???.. you mean you!!! Get over it, Obrador didn´t win the election, he knows it, his party had the chance to fight it within the institutions but couldn´t just because they were so inept to recall which of the votes had to be recounted. Had López Obrador behaved as the "democrat" he claims to be, he would have already assured the Presidency for 2012. Now he has the lowest popularity in his carreer and of course erased himself from the political chart.
I don't know much about politics but what i know is that Calderon just arrested Alfredo Beltran Leiva(EL Mochomo)this guy was in charge of the execution of of the whole organize crime for the Sinaloa CARTEL the most powerful drug cartel in the world, This is great news for Mexico this guy was untouchble,Calderon capture Osiel Cardenas The Boss of the most violent Cartel(GOLF'S CARTEL} THE ZETAS. That's a shame that Calderon, who apparently was a Harvard educated, does not speak English to explain to the world what he thinks. He is fighting drug dealers that's true, unfortunatelly, He is just acting against not the lord ones he's been capturing only the "minor" drug dealers as capturing the lord which also imply that he has to capture all the corrupted politcis that cover up them. Calderon is just working to make the rich people in mexico richer and meking the the poor poorer.

He seems to simple have wanted power for what power can do for him personally, very sad for a country that urgently needs great leadership.
Drug dealers being defeated? They had not captured a real head of the "narco". Only henchmen.
He's not stealing money? Don't know, but his interior minister is being accused of well proved influence traffic. If this is not corruption, I don't know what it is.

Its so easy to say shit about Fox and Calderon, but the true is that Mexico is ruled by a totally new way of gov. I mean law are being enforced, drug dealers are beign their asses beaten, and yes we have disidence, but its even healthy, its democracy, its free speech.
You are an absolute ignorant of what is happening in Mexico Fox and Calderon are both the worst in all our history. Calderon is like Saddam Husein who cheated in the election and has done everything USA is asking for but nothing to improve Mexico in anyway. During the last 8 years of this PAN there have been more unemplyment than never before. Everything is worst in anyway.
John Deere: Do you know that during 2006 and 2007 Mexico was on of the most dangerous places for journalists and one of the most low free speech level in the entire WORLD?
I dare you to do your research and prove me wrong. Also I challenge you to know your own country
He has done nothing to stop the killing of people on Oaxaca, has done nothing to take care of the EZLN issue, 2007 was the highest year of people executed by drug dealers, he has approved the price of gasoline (and therefore every product)to go up, people think there has not been devaluation of the peso since the PAN took power, but tell me how much did a dollar costed when Fox took oath and tell me how much does it costs today.
that is your point of view, i dont agree with you. the price of gas to go up? 2 cents each month....is that much? come on. besides all the problems you are talking about are problems that need years to be solved and the participation of all of us. the president is not alone, lopez obrador did nothing in mexico city. and i doubt he would do something as a president, tks good he is not.
the drug dealing deaths are a result of the government pressure on drug lords, i live in a border town and i grew up around all that and calderon is really delivering hard blows on drug dealers. Not do anything in Oaxaca? Look up the video of the federal police entering oaxaca under orders of Calderon. Price of gas is still cheaper in mexico, the price of the dollar has gone down since calderon, not up. And it is mostly the PRD or PRI people. And as far as the word on the street is...
If you live in a border town , you should agree that the police and the army are under the the drug leader's payroll. If you consider that the federal police entering to Oaxaca is because you know very little of your country reality. Defending such human rights violator as the Oaxaca goverment is a shame for any civilized country in the world.
Again, please take a trip inside Mexico, get to know your reality, shut your television down and get a one-to-one discovering trip.
what do you understand for "A GOOD JOB"?, it is true that he's fighting "some" drug dealers, but he won't get them all. He's the main drug dealer in turn in Mexico right now. He's speech is the same as Fox's "everything is OK" don't worry, and all this while the country keeps going down to the sewers.
Calderon has done a great job so far, not only has he damaged both the gulf and sinaloa cartels, but he has made wise economic decisions for the country, and although some act like a lot of people oppose him, at least in my state, he has a veery high approval rate and his projects are making a great difference in the states economy and infrastructure. And as far as the country going down the sewers i,ve seen more progress than fallbacks, but then again do you live in mexico? i do.
How many really cartel leaders are captured and judged? A. none.
What wise economic decision has he made? A. Besides the very wrong decision to increases taxes over already imposed articles and gas,no action is visible. There is not really new projects, besides to recycle the Salina's Ideas and programs(Oportunidades, etc etc). The computer program is an failure legacy from Fox. The popular insure is a shame.
Please take a small trip and learn about the reality in the Country.
No man. His English is as terrible as Fox's; he said he couldn't expalin the reasons. In mexico, we've got good translators that can either title or translate what he says on live TV. No offending, he sucks ... lo digo como mexicano.
Well I believe he is representing Mexico, so he should speak Spanish, because thats what he speaks. The old man didnt speak to him in Spanish, so why should he talk to him in English, either way the language doesnt matter. He is a honest and good president.
The world must know that Felipe Calderon is one of the worst presidents Mexico has ever had in all its history. Some facts:
-He was "elected" in a very dirty process and fraud acussations
- No real lord drug has been captured yet, in the process, more than 1,500 people has been killed.
- He says "Mexico decided for the future" that is just his propaganda.
- His closest team members are accused( with evidence) of curruption, so far he is standing behind of them.
- The economic situation of Mexico, is result of the really poor management of the party he belongs

of course he speaks english, but, he is speaking spanish, because he want´s mexico to know what he is saying, dont be a fool.

He speaks spanish in order to respect the official language of his country and he wants the mexicans to understand what he says.
