  • I bought a custom liquid cooled machine from Puget, which ultimately had some sort of short which made powering the machine incredibly difficult. 4 months after having sent it back they still hadn't fixed it, and I got my refund -20% charge for it being a custom liquid cooled machine. They probably work great for most people, but don't expect major brand level support from them.

  • I have a good gaming setup, It's not amazingly powerful or nothing, but it'll suite your needs. It's a 2gb ddr2 nvidia 8800 gtx windows 7 ultimate Os. And also with around 300 mb with 1.6 ghz and 2.8 overclocked. This setup will play Skyrim, Crysis, or Battlefield 3 at around High settings. Overclocked could handle Very high or even Ultra with some speed modifications and a good Cpu cooler.

  • @dapoculos13 high? not even

  • @mario11168 I beg to differ, because I have skyrim on this pc right now, and I play it on high. Crysis too- very high actually. BF3 haven't bought it. Don't really want it.

  • @dapoculos13 Medium, maybe, your processor isn't even enough for Crysis. Again, Medium, maybe.

  • @mario11168 Believe me it's not as weak as you think. Excuse my stupidity with computer specs, but it's really not as weak as you think. I *have* owned Crysis in the past, and have played on a mix of high and very high setting getting an average of 20-50 fps range.

  • I used to use Puget Systems, but ever since they've become popular there prices have skyrocketed. Luckily, I did find a great company that, in my opinion, is just as good as Puget without the high price. If you're looking for a great gaming PC with realistic prices check out Ironside Computers. As long as they keep their prices low, they'll be seeing my business for a long time.

  • what is the best gameing computer i could get for $750max$

  • @FalloutFanBoy101 I came up with....Phenom II x4 965..8gb DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengeance...Lian Li Lancool..Raidmax 730 Modular..500GB Western Digital Blue...Gigabyte 990X AM3+,AM3 motherboard...AMD 6870...Lite-On DVD/CD drive...Corsair H50...This totaled..$790.00 After shipping with $30 of Mail in Rebate offers.

  • @DiDolRuChagi huh

  • @FalloutFanBoy101 I came up with that build for $790.00. That price included the shipping costs. It did not include the $30 that you can recieve with Mail-in Rebates. That would make the total $760.00 after you fill out and send in the Mail-in Rebate offers.

  • If I had a dollar for every pixel in this vid, id have a dollar.

  • @west5ive That thumb whore comment only works when the video has shit quality. This quality is pretty decent, most likely your monitor that's shithouse.

  • He is an actual robot haha.

  • i can taste the quality from here....

  • i think i just gave up xbox. lol

  • this makes x box look like crap

  • @yankonthis Well, DUHH xbox and ps3 ARE crap!

  • This is the review of all time!

anyone interested in learning how to build budget comps with pretty good performance should check out this link. building computers is much cheaper than buying premade, overpriced computers. while this book isn't exactly up to date on lots of new hardware, it helps you build your computer without the risk of damaging any computer parts. i built my first computer using this book.

  • WoW ... The My dreams Came true in this computer ..!! me want it ..!! how much does it costs .. and does the company ship out of the US ..?

  • I just got a system through Puget - It was amazing. I've never had such a positive experience with any company, ever.

  • Oh sweet god; I'd marry that.

  • how much these cost?

  • Fantastic video. You covered this system from top to bottom. I've never seen a tech review this comprehensive and informative from ANYONE, not even PC Magazine, CNET, etc.

I just learned about Puget Systems today, and they look good. Dell now only allows basic configuration these days, and they killed off AlienWare completely a few months ago, where not even an "AlienWare" system is properly configurable.

Puget looks good, and a decent system seem priced about $2,500 or so.

  • I believe the best computer company to buy a custom computer from is... Digital Storm.

Their customer service and everything is just outstanding. and they have more choices than any other company I've dealt with.

  • you could build your own for less than half the price

  • dfdasf

  • I built a custom one on their website, and it's about $11,000 xD.

  • noisy :P

  • I don't understand how Digital Storm can over charge $2500-$3500 when the computer costs under $2,000 to begin with.

  • Cooler Master HAF 932

  • I have Digital Storm, Cyberpower, Maingear, Alienware, AddictPC, VigorGaming, AvA direct, Puget Systems, Ibuypower, Velocitymicro, Falcon-NW, New Egg, and Tiger direct all book marked. I would be really interested in the list of your components. I trust no body.

  • remember this is 2 and a half years ago

  • ur probably right :)

  • funk vista in the goats ass

  • hey man, im going to purchase a desktop vista pc from newegg, do you think these are right specs for gaming? Gateway DX4800-05e Pentium dual-core E5200(2.50GHz) 6GB DDR2 640GB NVIDIA GeForce 9200 Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit - Retail

  • Your gonna want a better graphics card

  • not at all

  • thx

  • its good just dont freak out when your computer says it only has 4.5GB of ram thats becuase of vista that uses 1-2GB of ram which wont show on the properties but overall the computer is good

  • better possessor get a core 2 duo

  • you need more Processor! AMD Phenom x4 at least!

  • amd and got nothing on intel I7 soon to be I9

  • it was a nice computer in its hay day but now it suffers :O

  • not really if you still have that computer thats in video all u have to do is buy a bridge connector for the graphics card and add another Nvidia 8800GTX and you now have a dual graphics card :) also u can change most of the parts since its a desktop so its still nice a computer even today :)

  • How much of all this ?

  • The cooling system is amazing the actual computer parts isnt that good.

  • its 3 years old

  • yah my laptoip has this comuting power

  • no kidding?

dude it 2 years later now you know?

  • Nice work. keep it up. mean time come for social media marketing for esteembpo**com ghfs

  • watch this vid /watch?v=cmpaAoY3SQc

    GIVE ME YOUR DISCO STICK!

  • disco stick my ass......w8 no not like that motha fucken spamma

  • cooooooool

  • I thought Alien Ware was the best on the market, I think beats it.

Dude, are you a Trekkie. You sound like the doctor from next generation series.

No offense thought it was kinda funny abit, good info.

  • Alienware is god awful now.. may as well buy a straight up Dell. Digital Storm builds the best as far as pre-built goes, but it's idiotic not to build your own anyway.

  • What happened with Alienware?

  • dell bought Alienware out as financially the company was struggling.

  • ah

Just curious, I build my own PCs anyway. Prebuilts are rip offs

  • Its not idiotic to "not" build your own. I challenge you to configure your pc on Digital storms web site, making sure to remember everything you'll need (including operating system). Then try to purchase those items on new egg. Then factor in Shipping. For me in Alaskanew egg wanted to charge me 40 dollars to send a 49 dollar printer. Many computer makers will ship for free. Believe me I have tried many times to justify making my own.

  • Trust me I've looked at the Digital Storm website, and it's clear they are the highest quality custom built gaming pc website out there. However, like every other company, they are ridiculously overpriced. Configuring the exact same system that I have built, it would cost me $2500-$3000 more than what it cost me to build on my own. And it wouldn't even be quite as good, because they don't use the nice bitspower compression fittings or the best radiators, and they don't use murdermod sleeving.

  • List your components. The computer I have configured Costs $1700 on Cyber power, $2200 on Digital Storm $2080 on Puget Systems. If I try to purchase everything needed from New Egg...I end up in the 2500 range. I would hardly call that ridiculously overpriced.

  • newegg will be the cheapest out of all of them. Cyber power sucks along with ibuypower. Why would i want someone else to build my computer? Fuck that

  • Bet it's a nightmare when it comes time to change the oil in this beast!

  • it takes max. 20 minutes to change liquid..

  • cool!

  • Whoa...Over 1k videos...

    Nice man.

  • :O Gimme!

  • I'm not a computer genius but why 2 LAN ports??

  • its USB poets...dont u have more than 1???

  • why such outdated things? the 8800gtx is pretty old... i have one, but couldn't they of used the 9800gtx?

  • please read the date before you say something. xD it was made in march of 2007. there was no such thing as the 9800 gtx

  • If they'd make a high end gaming rig today they wouldn't be using anything less than a GTX 260/HD4870. The thing is, this was made in May 2007. I'm sure they would have been happy to use a 9800GTX, if it had existed at the time.

  • ooh okay, yeah i forgot about the dates.

  • how much are these bad boy's?

  • I am typing this on my brand new Puget and I'll tell you myself that this thing is the best computer I have ever owned.

  • This company is the best experience you will ever have on the market. A little expensive but its totally worth the money ! be a happy customer, go puget !

  • I have been looking around for gaming PC's and this seems like a company that knows what it is doing. I'd like to know the following if you can answer

    a. If you own the Liquid-cooled system, do they cool both CPU AND GPU or just CPU?

    b. How good is their support staff?

    c. Can you divulge your configuration and the price it cost you?

I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks!

  • for a it depends. you can add tubbing and water blocks for your gpu if you buy

  • What's the real difference between a gaming rig and one built for 3d rendering(graphics) programs?

  • Gaming rig's aren't as powerful. 3D rendering rig's have massive amounts of video memory/RAM... now, in a game they will not perform that much better, but are crazy when it comes too rendering.

  • This rig is getting bit old. You guys might wanna find a newer model if buying a pre-build.

  • gaming computers are just fast on big high grapihc games ?????

  • umm no.there fast on anythying.ull be playin minesweeper at 1,000,000,000 fps.lol. they will do it all fast

  • Ah, but it can't do slow fast now can it?

  • That thing gets loud on max lol

  • yeah, but I think that with the 240mm heatsink, settings fan at 6-7 is quite enough.

  • You need your own show or something, lol. You're good at what you do.

  • lol your not good at turning pages, you bent each of the pages as you turned over :P

  • he was nervous

  • or because he's using one hand and the method he used was easier to turn the pages faster.

  • What is the best graphics card out right now

  • well gtx 280 but the ati 4870 is almost as good and half teh price :D

  • all my mates are dicks and think ati sucks but i told them the ati cards are almost the same as the nvidia and only half the price

  • yup basicly hey im building a new comp with a 4870 in crosfire and a qaud core :D u should come down to my channel and posible sub so u can see the final product

  • the 4870x2 is almost out there are actually some reviews bout it.

  • I have

Quad core duo @ 2.4 Ghz.

    3 Gig's of ram.

    8600 Gt 512mb.

    And a 22" Hd monitor.

  • any recommendations on an ATI Video card in the £50-70 region.

  • ATI Readon HD3650 is about $80 idont know about euros but proly less then that cause of our dollars value now

this video card is very good uses very little power and in most normal aplications the fans on it do not run at all it will stay a very low temperature even under lots of stress alos in your price range i beleive its the best your gonna get

P.S im buying 2 of them myself for my gaming computer

  • im probably buying a console now [much easier]

  • well my is better XD a lot better

  • What do you have?

  • Intel Q6600 overlocked 4*3,2 Ghz XFX GTX XXX ( SLI ) Physik card ( ASUS ) Asus striker Xtreme ( Mainbord ) 8 GB Kingston Hyper X ( RAM ) DDR2 800 1000 watt Thermaltake ( Netzteil ) Enermax Big Chakra ( case ) not watercooled , Asus Silent Nigth , The rest is from Zalman cooling control 1000 Gig Seagate Sata DVD Burner ( Pioneer ) ^^ so
  • Nice...But,

    Physik card = Fail

    8Gb = ??? Why?

  • maybe 64 bit

  • It's "Striker Extreme". You can't even spell it right...

  • nice... whats the price on those/??

  • @smokedontcry $5,335.17

  • nice... whats the price on those/??

  • thats a pretty low 3dmark06 score for the parts that it has...

  • It's not overclocked, and most people with rigs like that overclock.

  • ...no funny ending wrong takes on this one? hehehe ;)

    Nice rig, especially the case.

  • so how much is this worth in US dollars?

  • I have seen 3dGameMans's reviews and I wonder, is he really that rich enuogh to buy everything he does a video review on?? Or is it borrowed from companies to help advertise or anythign liek that?

  • The second part

  • Does he keep all the products he reviews? :D

  • its all donated to him

  • computer suxs xD but review is nice xD

  • are you retarded? this computer will be better than anything you can make paired up with 500 vietnamese babies working at a sweatshop.

  • Not really, its about £1500 overpriced.

  • thoes results are shit. i get the same with a comp i build 3 years ago.

  • to bad thats not true....

  • looks like a portable air conditioner! all it needs is a compresser!

  • I must admit the design of this Computer is Amazing, probably the Best I've seen.

  • wow i built my computer for about 1500 and i got better benchmarks than that

  • A year later? =/

  • i need that computer,i'd sell my mom for that...

  • You rock guy lmfao you just rock arrrrgghhhh woooot yeah!! ;]

  • OMG I'd SO OLD I HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS SAYING HALF THE TIME!!!

  • my motherboard has 7.1 audio i dont need a sound card and my sound pwns

  • you need an audio card to take stress off of your CPU. notice your FPS will go up if you buy one!

  • not much.. i put a different audio card in my old pc and it didnt change my fps.. and by the way i dont need more fps i run css at 130fps and tfs over 85 so im good besides that does nothing

  • 'A different audio card.'

If you don't already have an audio card and put one in, you WILL see a boost.

  • stfu u will get a boost but not like what your talking about.. dont listen to aimnutsaboutpcs hes gay and stalks little boys

  • "but not like what your talking about."

He said that your FPS will go up, he did not state how much it would go up.

  • Audiocard has absolutely nothing to do with your FPS, so fuck off liar

  • yea, it has nothin to do with your FPS. It barely takes stress of your CPU. The only thing you would need an autio card for is if your sound is fucked up and sounds very staticy or if you have no speaker port on ur mobo which if you do, just light ur pc on fire.

  • The sound on a motherboard is powered by the CPU, so when sound is being played, such as in a game, the CPU will be heavily affected, but not in tasks with no noise - hence the reason why you can't prove this fact from benchmarks because most don't have sound.

A sound card has its own CPU to generate the sound, which takes a whole LOAD of the main computer CPU.

Please look it up on the internet and prove me wrong before shouting out wrong information.

  • u and cilitbang321 are wrong sound does have to do with ur fps not much but it does help a few fraps if u have a sound card

  • Says the guy who doesn't know who to put a skin on his channel. :/

You don't know how wrong you are.

  • Actually, what he's saying is very true. I used to play Counter Strike: Source with onboard sound, and when i would play with 10+ people, I would lag quite a bit and playing music while I was playing made it worse. With my Sound Blaster Audigy SE, there was no lag when I did the exact same thing, and I could even play music while I was playing. It takes ALOT of load off your motherboard and CPU. It the same concept as getting a new video card =/

  • Great way of putting it, thank you.

  • part true and part not. There are many types of OAS (On-board Audio Subsystems). There are OAS provided with their own controller chip, there are OAS "mastered" via Southbridge, and OAS controlled somehow directly by the cpu (although it's not actually true). There are even OAS wich interrupt conflicts with vgas, there are OAS with ridiculous time-lag drivers and so on... Truth is that a discrete pci audio card is better than an OAS, at least 7 times out of 10.

  • i would support you if you sent me that computer

  • omg this computer is very cool. Well I'm getting something like that but I'm not getting the water-cooling system nor the 2 front 120mm fans; I wonder if they are that necessarily for doing 8 hours of daily gaming...

    (q6600, 2GB ram, 8800 gts , 500Gb Hd)- might improve to 8800 ultra...

  • not bad bro dont get ultra and new graphics card comeing out soon

  • yah man i think its going to be a good comp. but like you say i might change the videocard for one of the new ones that ati is gonna come up with in christmas. probably 1GB :D

  • no one knows when they are coming out, so if you absolutley cant wait i'd get an ultra!!!

  • he talks to fast!

  • i love all his rewievs. watching many eatch night.

and i learn very much too.

    thanx for sharing.

  • isnt the lock use less when they can just undo the 2 them screws and destroy your insides

  • tiger direct is better to watch.. this guy trys waaaaay to hard

  • tiger direct sucks, they just want you to buy stuff....

  • lol oh no i dnt buy ne of it.. but id rather watch him than maximus dorkus up there ^^ u do realise he is payed to say there kick ass products? coz so far there isnt much he hasnt labeled as kick ass everything he reviews is kick ass... so i wouldnt trust all of the things he says

  • no they done i think there one of the best and o have bought many things from them an i have no dissapointments

  • .....it's like an advertisement.. Come on rodney, i expect more from you.. and dont rate every product "great" or "kickass"... be more critical.. that's what reviews are for man..

  • Lol, that would be funny to hear, "Overall, this is a SHITTY product."

  • "Puget has went with..." what kind of English is that? LOL

  • Thank you Mr. English Professor for correcting all our mistakes.

  • lololololol that was funny =]

  • Hmm Interesting... The video was a little boreing...

  • Pretty sweet game

  • It is Crysis from CryTek.

  • Does anyone know what game that is right around 10:30 min. into the video?

  • oh ur talking about cyrsis that game comes out september 11. =)

  • Humm still having same problem :( it shows the video fully loaded... but just stops at 2:18. Have Refreshed it many Times. Guess it just wont work

  • what's wrong with the video? Stops at 2:18

  • its your computer it, it doesnt load past that, just refreash the page and just wait for it to fully load

  • great reveiw

wow that graphics water block looked expensive :D
