The most frustrating part about this game is that the fielders don't show any urgency to get the ball and get it out of there hands quickly especially if the ball isn't hit right at them. It makes for a ton of bs infield hits. Take a look at Ryan Braun getting an infield hit when that should have been an easy play for the ss in real life. I think im gonna pass on this game this year.

@hrking25sf Yeah...throwing has always bugged me in this series. Takes them FOREVER to get rid of the ball. Not to mention that almost every single time you hit the ball down the line they dive and make a miracle play. I can't even remember hitting a double down the line through the infield in this game.

Continue: As a batter I want to see the pitchers reactions, movements, release points, and tiring. As a pitcher I want to see where the batter's plate coverage, his attitude after a first strike. like i said, I want this game to be more virtual. I tired of the repetition. i'm a top 100 player in the Community and I'm looking forward to the new control options. As you remember EA MVP they used the analog control when batting and pitching. That's something I liked and will take time to get used to it again BUT...hopefully it will make it more challenging for the better players. Online play is a different story....too many cheats and exploits ruins the fun of playing online...especially when your good...the cheaters have the 900-30 record.

You're right on all points. I've gown with title too and I have not seen any wow's. The are a few things I am asking for: First person view, where I can see through the eye of batter/pitcher, in and outfield, i must be able to look around the field environment. From this viewing perspective, you feel more involved with what going on around you. I want to be put in the game. I'm tired of watching everything through the eyes of the umpire or catchers eye view.

damn, the one problem i have with this one and last years was the elbow guards. does anyone else notice how huge and unproportional they are to the batters wearing them? for example, look at ryan braun, his elbow guard nearly covers his entire arm. definitely something that should have been fixed from last year's edition of the game.

It'd be the same for MLB The Show would be the same after Year by Year with a few extras. People could always stick to the same Game they got but they could feel miss seeing another "Year" Game.

@nscwevideos59 - Yeah that was my beef with this game in previous years but the addition of Eric Karros to the broadcast team this year at least means some new dialogue. The presentation sounds very captivating in the trailer for this game. Even with these minor issues The Show is still light years ahead of 2K tho.
