2 things. Might I suggest getting the Emr and secondly you can use a semi auto sniper to stay more on point with the target if you dont have a straight pull bolt open for a bolt action because you can use bipods in stead of havign to worry about holding the breath on the shot. And sometiems if you have a stationary target and you get a hit close to the head you can double tap them and the natural kick of the weapon in game will rock the second round into they're head pefectly.

If your starting out as a recon:

1) if ur a mediocre sniper, try and use the MOD sniper rifle first

2) if your good enough with that, use the SV98 pull bolt sniper

3) unlock the ballistic 12x scope

4) do what this guy in the vid just did with the radio beacon

5) kick some ass!

1st step : Get a bolt action rifle

2nd step : Make kills until you have x12, when done equip it

3rd step : Take a long range spot where you can see ( almost ) the whole map and shoot to kill

BTW : You should learn some more about bullet drops, it will help you alot ! Nice vid anyway ;)

So GTF all snipers can make 1 hit kill headshoot any range.

When I play online with my friends, we have a squad of four - One of each class, the Sniper will watch three of us and spot enemies for us so we don't get our faces blown open. Also, he will pick off enemies that shoot as us that we couldn't otherwise kill without being shot in the process. Snipers are VERY useful when used properly, though a lot of snipers dont join squads and just MAV Glitch to the top of the map all the time... Gotta love BF3 on PC though, still no patch... Looks better on PC
