@clwnz777 You obviously didn't listen to anything past the clening. The clesning is most SS fans favorite album and IMO that album was not good at all. No time to bleed was a much better album and my personal favorite. That album has a lot more effort put into it. The clensing was written in 19 days and was recorded completely live and mitch didn't even have a proper mic to sing into. The "hate" lyrics are directed towards god cuz SS is completely against god and religion.
@clwnz777 I am a guitar player and i am always more judgmental towards the guitar player than anyone else in the band. If the guitars don't sound good then the song doesn't sound good which is precisely why i dislike the clensing. No time to bleed is not just chugs and breakdowns there are not that many chugs and ther are proper riffs and solos. Half the time i don't even notice a bands breakdowns unless they make it obvious but personally i don't mind breakdowns. And the guitar is even better

They're against God and religion.. that's not original, and it isn't necessary to swear in every sentence. They only do that to sound "brutal" like the rest of the generic deathcore genre. IF you listen to the song diesengage you will hear mark do this small but very cool techniques like a slight half bend to make it sound cooler and mute some of the notes with hes fingers. You don't have to shred so fast you light the fretboard on fire for me to consider you a good player its small thing like that, that make me appreciate guitar players. There are no anti god lyrics in the 2nd and 3rd albums. Mitch sings about those anti god things

There a video on my channel called "mitch and mark explain the meaning behind each track on the no time to bleed record" If you watch it you will see what i mean. I know it's not original but its true for mitch. At least they don't write gory lyrics like a lot of DC band and At least they don't call themselves a DM band like whitechapel does. For one, you don't control what bands suck, and what bands are good, or if deathcore is a form of metal or not, because whether you like it or not, it's in that category. Second, you're talking about how the band looks? What the hell. It's about the music they play that makes them the genre they are, not their style. You don't realize that everyone has their own twist to the genre they play. They don't have to be solidly one.

I'm gonna admit that I listen to deathcore. Not a lot, however, but I listen to every genre of metal. The only deathcore bands I listen to is Whitechapel, Job for a Cowboy (I prefer when they are death metal but even then they're not that great), and The Black Dahliah Murder (I prefer them when they do melodic death metal but when they're deathcore they're not bad). The reason why is because they are less generic than other deathcore.

The way a band dresses, it's lyrics and it's fan base do not change it's genre. @clwnz777 You obviously didn't listen to anything past the clening. The clesning is most SS fans favorite album and IMO that album was not good at all. No time to bleed was a much better album and my personal favorite. That album has a lot more effort put into it. The clensing was written in 19 days and was recorded completely live and mitch didn't even have a proper mic to sing into. The "hate" lyrics are directed towards god cuz SS is completely against god and religion.

@clwnz777 I am a guitar player and i am always more judgmental towards the guitar player than anyone else in the band. If the guitars don't sound good then the song doesn't sound good which is precisely why i dislike the clensing. No time to bleed is not just chugs and breakdowns there are not that many chugs and ther are proper riffs and solos. Half the time i don't even notice a bands breakdowns unless they make it obvious but personally i don't mind breakdowns. And the guitar is even better

IF you listen to the song diesengage you will hear mark do this small but very cool techniques like a slight half bend to make it sound cooler and mute some of the notes with hes fingers. You don't have to shred so fast you light the fretboard on fire for me to consider you a good player its small thing like that, that make me appreciate guitar players. There are no anti god lyrics in the 2nd and 3rd albums. Mitch sings about those anti god things

There a video on my channel called "mitch and mark explain the meaning behind each track on the no time to bleed record" If you watch it you will see what i mean. Lifted is my favorite SS song because of that section in the song cuz it works so well together. I'm gonna admit that I listen to deathcore. Not a lot, however, but I listen to every genre of metal. The only deathcore bands I listen to is Whitechapel, Job for a Cowboy (I prefer when they are death metal but even then they're not that great), and The Black Dahliah Murder (I prefer them when they do melodic death metal but when they're deathcore they're not bad). The reason why is because they are less generic than other deathcore.

The way a band dresses, it's lyrics and it's fan base do not change it's genre. Admittadly some of the points made in this video are valid, for example the Black Metal points, and I'm not completely sure if Suicide Silence have said that but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
