Hey... Just wondering... Maybe something happened to Willie between Sept. 13 and the November entry you made.. It looks like part of his tail is missing, and if it was because of someone "protecting" themselves from the "little man" that could have a devastating effect on his ability to trust humans... (*cough* I wouldn't know ANYTHING about that *cough*). Just wondering if you noticed the change in his tail's appearance too.
Well, I guess it's okay because I never really expected him to respond. I'd be surprised if he did, and gobsmacked if he replied in any positive way, (given most of the comments from his fans, etc.)
This situation is bothering me in some ways because as Willie got older, the "owner" didn't do anything (that I can see, really), to positively enforce train Willie to "behave properly", (other than to throw him into situations that traumatized the raccoon emotionally!)
Raccoons are very social/family oriented, so, when the owner takes Willie and puts him somewhere where he can't "be" a part of the "family", it damages any chances for Willie to be able to either be integrated into a "human/animal" family OR to be released back into the Wild.
your making it seem like this is a deadly crocodile, ive been bitten by a raccoon before, and it barely hurts, AND not all raccoons have rabies, you wouold be able to tell because its mouth would be foaming and itd be walking around like it was drunk which willie clearly isnt.

@damygeebo wow that it a bit odd. I've had alot of difrent pets in my life but my husband and I are struggling to agree on one. I like uncommen animals such as artic foxes and snakes, he is afraid of snakes, most creapy crawlies and likes dogs and hamsters. We're all doomed.

@masterschild ...hahaha! u crazy! Willie is actually a wild coon; not a pet. he was released to the wild over 2 years ago, but does visit 1-2 per month. usually in a very bad mood.

What is it with folks always thinking that raccoons have rabies? If Raccoon Willie ever did get that damn virus, I'd like it to be arranged that he really tear into me; then we'll show the viewers what rabies is all about. Hey... Just wondering... Maybe something happened to Willie between Sept. 13 and the November entry you made.. It looks like part of his tail is missing, and if it was because of someone "protecting" themselves from the "little man" that could have a devastating effect on his ability to trust humans... (*cough* I wouldn't know ANYTHING about that *cough*). Just wondering if you noticed the change in his tail's appearance too.

Well, I guess it's okay because I never really expected him to respond. I'd be surprised if he did, and gobsmacked if he replied in any positive way, (given most of the comments from his fans, etc.)
This situation is bothering me in some ways because as Willie got older, the "owner" didn't do anything (that I can see, really), to positively enforce train Willie to "behave properly", (other than to throw him into situations that traumatized the raccoon emotionally!)

Raccoons are very social/family oriented, so, when the owner takes Willie and puts him somewhere where he can't "be" a part of the "family", it damages any chances for Willie to be able to either be integrated into a "human/animal" family OR to be released back into the Wild.

your making it seem like this is a deadly crocodile, ive been bitten by a raccoon before, and it barely hurts, AND not all raccoons have rabies, you wouold be able to tell because its mouth would be foaming and itd be walking around like it was drunk which willie clearly isnt.
