My nepenthes(highland) was delivered with no water in the pitcher but can I just give waters like poland spring to it? I'm thinking on putting water in it half way but is that too much?
I want to make a simple highland greenhouse, since indoors is no more option(WAY too many CPs!). Humidity will be fine, but I'm having trouble with finding a good spot for lighting... Also, what type of glass is recommanded for the greenhouse? (I live in Belgium.)
Okay. Thanks. Just one question. I have just put them into a pot of soil (specially made for carnivorous plants) and want to know how long they take to germinate. Do you know this?
Unbelievable. Do you now have a name for the new species of 2:12? Or is it already known?
I have just bought some seeds for Nepenthes Lowii. I heard they would only grow very slow. Is it exception that they produce their first upper pitcher after 80 Years or is it normal? Because I want to see her producing one.
@lexander5 Robert Cantley should know the name. Regarding the N. lowii you should be patient, after about 10 years I am now waiting for the first upper pitcher of my Lowii to appear with one of the next leaf-generations. 80 years is actually a little too pessimistic.
very nice plants im about to get 2 nepenthes the lowii and the spathulata =)..... are they hard to grow??? what would you recomend to me i live in medellin - colombia south america the weather here is i think tropical =)
Sorry that you misunderstood our trailer which is in the German language. It is simply a kind of anagram turning the German "Hui Sieg" (translated "Wow, victory") into our registered label "Hunting Veggies(R)". It has absolutely nothing to do with any right-wing extremist symbols from world war 2. I am very sorry and appologize if our trailer has been misinterpreted that way.
Very interesting video! Thanks for uploading it
How old is the Nepenthes lowii with upper pitchers? and the Nepenthes villosa?

@oidualclaudi0 Sorry, I don't know how old these Neps are, estimated 4-5 years.

@devilonthebay Add 1/4 volume of de-ionized or destilled water. However, also tapwater will work.

Wonderful, tropical climate, they will grow nicely. Good luck! I grow also a N. lowii which is a highlander and likes cool nights.
