Leona Lewis won the contest (and I pretty much seen it coming from her first appearance, too) but the second she won, she buggered off to America, when the UK loved her so much. I honestly haven't heard from her since in the media; and I think she's really just fell into that "black hole" market now. Shes "just another singer" now. If she had stayed on and PROPERLY kept a base in the UK, things might have went better for her, I think.
