he uses a technique called flying fingers it requires very little movement of the wrist and arm, which tire easily whereas just moving the stick with your fingers doesn't. Very hard to master, but an excellent technique for blasts and fast beats.

x-cell pads are amazing the first day when i got em i wasn't used to them so i didn't like them that much but after that now i love them! dont take them off a lot or the stickiness will come off to get the stick back i had to stack 5 encyclopedias on my pad and keep it there all nigh
