There´s a demo of both on youtube, both by musikschmidt, but I just have a feeling, that this signature sounds "chuggier" just because the other man, that was demoing the invader, wasn´t able to dial it properly (like not enough gain).... is the invader equally juicy on low-end staccato as this one?
The riff played at 7:07 reminds me a song, but I don't remember from what song it comes.. I guess it's some Lamb of God's stuff but I'm not sure. If someone could help me ^^
@sild123 .....a tube amp is broken into two stages:
-preamp tubes
-power tubes
the gain knob usual pushes the preamp tubes to create overdrive/distortion
the master volume usual controls the overall volume of the amp....but when you turn the master volume up all the way, the power tubes get distorted, and it's warmer distortion than preamp distortion....99% think it sounds sweeter than preamp gain. but you need an attenuator to turn down the volume...it's extremely loud on this amp for example.

@SwampAshHSS You can buy an attenuator...or you can purchase an amp with "Power Scaling" technology, which differs significantly from the typical master volume setup. Look for the London Power website for an explanation.
I didn't expect such nice sounds from an Engl. Boosted clean seems very cool too. Wonder if it sounds 3D when played in the flesh. All Engls I played were a bit flat sounding.

I think it's a "personalized" and fine-tuned to the artist's preference version of the stock model..
