First when you walk in there will be a question sheet that the Psyc will ask you about your answers on it after, just tick what you think is not gay or suicidal. Anyone who knows anything about the real military will know that Aliens statement to me that Recruits at 1 RTB are only allowed to fire F88 sub cal rounds (.22) proves that he knows fuck all and must be a school cadet, as they use the sub cal. However a sub cal round can be used by trained troops in say a jungle sneaker range for CQB training. Win.

Ok I am a soldier from Australia, and I know we aint the best, stop loiving on past glories guys, consider the battle at Long Tan, a big one for us, but in reality a small battle by US standards, they found Company actions like that on a weekly basis. We are small fish in a big pond. Get over it, but keep it real. You think your fucking ANZAC's? where are the Kiwi's? No ANZACs without them. I know the truth hurts, but this is what real soldiers know.

Read Jim Hammetts article on the lack of combat experience and the candy ass mission that our Infantry are doing in the "War on Terror". Fact is I have served and you all know it, and me saying these things is what gets you all upset as its from a real soldier, but you are just dumb cunts who live in fantasy worlds and believe all the bullshit about our military that the system feeds you. First of all, yes we are doing a lot of combat rolesthat the media don't show us, not as much as America, but still a lot. Second of allwe are contributing to the war by rebuilding infustructer over there and helping the next generation of kids so they don't have to grow up in a fucked up environment. Building schools etc., and teacing them how do do things themselves. I find thats better contributing to war efforts then going around shooting everything that moves.

Ofcoarse I'm prepared to kill if I have to, but won't take pleasure in it and no soldier in the ADF really does from what I've heard from a Commando and SAS soldier (who I've met in person). Just got back from an Army based just now. I already know drill, how to smiley face socks, salute, march, etc. half the shit they teach you at Kapooka. My dads ex Army as well, I know soldiers so don't start saying shit how I won't last. I can't wait to fucking fire the Steyr.

Also of interest is the fact that 6 RAR failed alot of their pre-deployment testing, and were deemed not up to standard by the DS, but still deployed, but it might explain their higher casualty rate than superior units. But its the Yanks and the Poms and even the Canadians (including their female grunts) who are doing the real work in the Ghan. Not us.

If you think our grunts are doing anything but protective ips then you need to read Jim Hammett's article on the decline of our infantry Corps because only SF get to do any offensive ops. Jim was the RSO in my unit, and is a top hand, but he knows the facts, the Govt are keeping our guys outa harms way, unless you are SF.
