How did Ginger get off the island? In the 1st reunion movie, a tsunami washed the Castaways' hut-boat into the shipping lanes where Gilligan's fire caught the eye of a Coast Guard helicopter. During a reunion cruise on the Minnow 2, they get shipwrecked again. In the 2nd reunion movie, the US Navy spotted the Castaways attempting to fly a WW2 bomber. They are finally rescued for good. They stay on the island though to run the Howell's resort.
