If you use the club to push a box, you would use the cupped position. The released position is just not a strong position wherein the club head is being pushed by the force of the golfer. Yep.. this video s spot on!! You see how he was rotating while holding those angles?? You can ONLY do this if you turn your torso all the way through. This IS golf's MAGIC MOVE that 99% of the weekend golfers do not do nor understand. If teaching pros.. taught just this move.. we would here much more compression on the links!!
Isn't that too much angle in the right hand.I believe in a flat left bent right but this seems to extreem.there needs to be some release of the hands while maintaining the right wrist angle,so that you create speed with the right hand.
