I wanted to add that I don't know much about rock or any music, I like a little bit from every genre of music (rap, pop, rock, classical, country, and some others) although if i had to pick a specific favorite, it would be old school rock and some metal genres like the ones i mentioned along with aerosmith, beatles, acdc, led zepplin, guns and roses, nirvana, etc. I am just curious as to whether any of you like or have ever liked softer type of rock music and i guess worked your way to this?

We need some more experimental bands to be thrown in the mix that add a lot of variety and uniqueness to the table. There are a few that are current/have made it happen E.G The Anti Doctrine, Between the Buried and Me, Kaddisfly ect., but there definitely need to more. I know that if I hear a band that doesn't sound generic to the next, I'll probably get hooked.
