i loved being a teengrrl in the 80's - would not trade it for any other era. i got to Pink Floyd anyway :}. QR had two full cds of pure magic when i was 15 and 17. i love that they helped forge my muzical landscape.
When I was 9, I asked for Quiet Riot as one of three albums I really wanted. (The others being Crue and Ratt) Instead of getting Shout at the Devil, Out of the Cellar, and MEtal health......I got Too Fast for Love, Invasion of your privacy, and Condition Critical. As bummed as I was at the time, Those three became staples in my life. I still adore this album start to finish, more than metal health even. When you are 9 and have three tapes, You tend to memorize every second!
@MetalMaskMilitia Thanks, man. This song.album is a staple of my youth, and changed my views on music. Until I knew 'metal health', I was listening to UTFO. :) Life changing band. RIP Kevin DuBRow. Glad I got to see you live....
I totaly understand. I listened to this tape till I wore it out. Every song on this record is great. I love Bad Boy and Red Alert. Carlos Cavazo is a great guitar player. I will always have a soft spot for this band and will miss Kevin DuBrow. When I was 10 years old and saw him stand on those Marshall Amplifiers in those tiger striped pants and screaming into his striped mic........I said to myself, " I want to be that when I grow up!"
@derrickpistorius Right on, Man. Believe it or not, I didnt get to see them live until just a few years before his death. It was part of a multi-band bill, and they were either first or second....and were sort of a joke there. I was bummed out, cause I was giddy finally seeing them and they sounded GREAT, and people were goofin on them. He was still spinnin the striped mic stand. Always pretended to be him singing this song, making his CRAZY WIDE EYES look etc. :)
While Condition Critical is a really good album, it really can't stand up to Metal Health, which is one of the greatest albums of all time, in my opinion.
I hope this and all good rock is well preserved forever. I like to let my 20yr old girlfriend and my daughter listen to this stuff and they like some of it.

world wouldn't be the same without Pink Floyd. the one album stand bands like this one don't speak too loud. it's a very good album by the way. but that's all.
well if you look beyond the alternative rock and rap you'll find those bands (even new bands) who intend on bringing rock n roll back. (ex: the answer, airbourne)
yeah, yeah, i love this, and most of Q.R. songs i saw them live in concert in a place called backstage over there in houston, tx. i have not the date but if not wrong was the year 89 or 90 great band
Awesome. QR has made some killer shit over the years, clear up until Kevin died. Their lesser known stuff like Terrified and Guilty Pleasures rocks.
