actually Sharmila is very talented..in the 60's she started off with Bengali movies at a very young teenage girl and did very well, but when she was introduced in Hindi movies, she was quite hot in some it (the swimsuit and all and the cabaret costumes here) but later she proved that she was indeed a talent powerhouse with movies like Aradhana, Mausam etc..

It's a v.cute song no doubt, but unfortunately ur knowledge about the singer is v.bad. Rajmanneth is correct. It's sung by the singer Sharda who now has settled in USA for good. She achieved fame for the song 'Duniya ki sair kar lo' from Around the World. ..A welcome change in the era dominated by just Lataji & Ashaji. What a cute voice. It fits the moment & the character in the film perfectly!. Infact all the songs of this film r awesome, my personal favorite being ..Raat ke humsafar..
