I was impressed with both the similarities and the differences between the Turkish reception and the typical American reception. Also, how the music seemed such an integral part of the festivities, and not relegated to a stage like we in the US are so fond of doing. Very fascinating!

:) yes we all human but with some similarities and differences. The world itself is like the movie of startrek in different parts of the world has a different perception of festivities,cultures etc...tell me later in which points we have similarities...because it is a good opportunity to look ourselves outside:)thanks for this great comment:))

yes one of them is turc another is kurd:) That shows our country's mosaic...PKK is different it is terrorist organisation, kurds who are really proud of to be live in Turkey is a different thing...the second one shows our multiculturality.Not all the kurds are seperatist:)thanks for your comment my friend.

Nationalism has no place in Turkey! Legitimate Turkish pride is expressed in Patriotism, not nationalism. Atatürk was always against religious or racist concept for the Turkish state. Central Asian heritage is just one of the many pillars that make the identity of Turkey.

hahha yes its true:) I can't translate the master of ceremony he was crazy...telling stupid things:)))it was a really really traditional wedding...the other modern weddings are near the pool or inside the palace,otel etc,but more serious than this one...also in classical weddings the money or gold gifts are not putting on the wedding dress, inside the small bag...thanks for the comment Veronica:)
