The Epoch Times is the only newspaper that has the integrity to publish candid stories about the Chinese communist party`s human rights abuses. When it comes to getting news about China in particular, it is the most reliable news since they have extensive ties in China and work hard to try to uncover the situation, at risk to themselves. They don't copy the ccp controlled media (all media in China) . I volunteer to distribute Epoch Times for free in my area because it benefits society.

The Epoch Times shows its own weakness and that is finding it difficult to accept viewpoints that challenge those of them, this newspaper claims it stands for Freedom, but even they have proven to me that their own sense of Freedom is limited. The Epoch Times only stands for 'Freedom' on a certain basis.

Epochtimes simply unveil regular human rights violations within China, and has been awarded worldwide for that. A country can be on the right track at whatever it is they are achieving, but imperfections exist underneath, and Epochtimes simply unveil these imperfections. It is not biased by not reporting China's progress, it's being critical at the process of progress, be it in corruption, human rights violations, etc.

I've seen the Opinion page on the Epoch Times website and it was literally full of pro-Tibet, pro-Taiwanese independence, pro-Falun Gong activists etc. without a single pro-China comment. I have no problem if people unveil the problem of Chinese corruption, human rights abuses etc. But just looking at one side of the picture is another story.

There's an important distinction between criticising the ethics (or lack of), and criticising the ethnicity.

Dubbing Pro-Chinese as "Communists" have nothing to do with me, I shouldn't ask this to myself but rather at the people who do and I already know the answer. Critisizing China and being Sinophobic are 2 different things. Critisizing China is what I did during my studies but being Sinophobic is something else, you can look at some of those Free-Tibet activists to have a good example.
