  • Hughs, I'm big into reclaimed/recycled wood. In my opinion it has more character and is usually more stable than new wood. This neck was cut from the front of a discarded dresser drawer front.

  • It's been awhile since I got the string. I think it was around .065, 80,.90 and 1.05

a longer scale works best because the low is very loose if you don't us a scale of at least 32"

  • what gauge whacker strings did you use for this?

  • the beginning sounded like "mary had a little lamb" to me. but w/e, love it, sounds great. it beatsmy pocky-box and rubber band one.

  • ¿?

  • Is that "Blue Turk" at the beginning?

  • Never heard that one. Sort of a stray cat strut bass line.

  • Alice Cooper

    School's Out album

  • Nice!

  • Thanks. It's also very light. The only thing I will change on the next one will be the string spacing. I'm a guitar player and used guitar spacing. Add the thickness of the strings and the spacing is a bit tight.

  • very very cooL ! deep tone, fretless, looks easy to play.

  • Buenísimo!
