Hughs, I'm big into reclaimed/recycled wood. In my opinion it has more character and is usually more stable than new wood. This neck was cut from the front of a discarded dresser drawer front.
Thanks. It's also very light. The only thing I will change on the next one will be the string spacing. I'm a guitar player and used guitar spacing. Add the thickness of the strings and the spacing is a bit tight.

It's been awhile since I got the string. I think it was around .065, 80,.90 and 1.05
a longer scale works best because the low is very loose if you don't us a scale of at least 32"
