This was the 1983 US Festival. I was there. Listed as "Heavy Metal Sunday" Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Triumph, Judas Priest, Scorpions and Van Halen.
jesus christ. those vocals were good.. i saw them in like 2006 lol.. and rob was a bit old and tired tbh but wow these fucking notes he hits here are so impressive.. i love jp
@GregerTheGreat You don't have to believe me. The truth is truth. You would think the giant us festival sign behind him would have let you know. Wiki is wrong alot of the time ,but hey if it makes you feel better go ahead and be wrong. Don't confuse people with misinformation though.
This is definitely the US Festival. If you notice that the banner behind the band says: US Festival. Learn how to read. I was at this incredible event and I know what I saw.
I was 18 in 84 ... this is my music then and for ever . I listen to other stuff now , unbelievable I actually like country too and I hated it when I was a teen , but this music was part of my best years , I will always love it !!!
I just can't figure out how none of us ever figured out he was gay, hahaha! Anyone seen Rob in the movie spun; he does a little vignette as a gay porn shop owner... Classic!!
i was at the US festival, heavy metal sunday. it was like 7 bands, Quiet Riot, Motley Crew,Ozzy, JP, Scorpions,Van Halen, and for some unknown reason, Joe Walsh..... all for the incredible price of $20.00 a ticket!!!!!! it was un-fucking-believable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like 300,000 people in attendance
I can read a bit of Kanji and the subtitles say that Judas Priest was founded in 1972. But the one who put up the clip apparently assumed that the subs said when this gig was played.
this song was released on "screaming for vengeance" which came out in 1982. so even the caption scrolling across the vid is wrong unless it is saying when they formed, In which case it close but technically they have been around since the late 60's. This footage reminds me of thier "live aid" concert, but not sure.
This is 83'!!!! At 2:42, Look at the back of the drum riser!!! This song also came out on Judas Priest's "Screaming for Vengeance," album. Released in 82'
i think this is the best version i heard of this song live, i just love how kk and glenn playing their guitars and how they move them at the same time! i wish i was there, but i was born to late x( kk is sexy as hell!
