Metalitron 12 i agree with you sh2 and sh 0rigins can really envolve you in the ....game... (it's not easy to say it's a game because really...silent hill is something else...i have no words for it...
Hey Everybody! I have just released my new electronic album “Sub-Zero” which is heavily influenced by the world of Silent Hill and the music of Akira Yamaoka. If you're interested you can listen to the full album on my youtube channel, as well as download the album for free!
I have this track on my Ipod. I wake up to this every morning and think: where shall I go today? The sanitaruim? The hospital? No,no............THE BUTCHER SHOP!!!!!
this track is brilliant in the first half, but when the beat kicks in... i wonder why akira felt the need to steal a beat from portishead ("it could be sweet")? he does so well with his own stuff, after all...
@sangreturquesa It just disappointed me a bit that he used the exact same beat slowed down. Although since then I found out that actually he used a lot of other peoples' beats and even a fair few weird sounds from like free-to-use albums and such. I guess in the end it all doesn't matter so long as the music sets the mood in the game, which it really does really well.
the Hotel made me feel the most uneasy, especially when you see the Butcher through the peep hole and your heart starts beating and your just like "OH SH*T OH SH*T what's he going to do?!"...well that was my first time playing xD
yeah I agree with Komakoma876, The Hotel was probably the coolest part of the whole game in my oppinion. I also liked that house you go in when you jump down the hole in the bathroom. The one where the butcher had a body sliced in half on the bed. You know I think Silent Hill Origins and Silent Hill 2 had the most atmospheric feel and soundtracks when it comes to Silent Hill games.
forgot how fukin awesome this game's tunes were

@JaneAlanaRoss it's just trip hop,if you see it that way,you will think that all the trip hop music sounds like the same
the most emotive part in origins, and the most beautiful track too!

To me the Motel was a relief from the dank Hospital, the pitched black sanitarium, and that twisted theatre...here was open misty air...

@komakoma876 Nou, I'm even afraid of the "open Misty air"
