My God. So good. As a copywriter looking for a director, I can only say how I wish talent like this still existed. So many people trying to one-up each other with visual effects and the latest green-sky European color palate.
The DVD release I mentioned earlier is coming around...
Point of View just premiered in LA a few weeks ago, and will be screened at the 39th USA Film Festival in Dallas along with Joe's short films at the end of the month.
The Walter Harris Independent Life commercial is a complete riot. It is the odd details that really stand out in Sedelmaier's commercials. For example the people about to sneak into frame during the Fibreglas Pink commercials or low-angle camera shots pointed toward the clients in the commercials about bad-client service.
He's currently working on a DVD release compilation of his most famous spots, his short film, Openminds (appeared at Sundance in 2003), and a documentary about him called Point of View... They're hunting for a distributor right now...
The Independent Life commercial cracks me up!!! LOL!!! Too funny!!!

Hopefully a distributor will take interest!

Dont forget the goofy music in the background, like the trucker music in the wendy's truck driver commercial

Genius. What happened to Joe? I heard he was making a documentary of his hometown in Ohio. Great, great stuff.
