Dell XPS M1530 game quality

i bought mine off ebay brand new really cheap and it plays all steam games high spec exept skyrim but the graphics a reasonable but dont be expectin git to play crysis 2 and skyrim full spec and check the minimun reqirements 'cos i have a nvidia geforce but i'd definiately recomend(only wit good ram and graphics card!).

@eykisekoway Barely. The framerate gives me a headache after a while. If you're looking to play bfbc2 I would get something better. I've had a VERY bad experience with this laptop and I wouldn't recommend it or Dell to anyone.

the sims2 works 5 out of 10. it should work fine but the simes 2 is not compatible with this graphics card. get the sims 3, it is compatible.

The heat vent is blocked when you open the laptop (BAD design) which causes the laptop to become quite hot after about an hour or so.

xps m1530 is alot better for gaming cause it has the nvidia 256mb grafic card

i have one and i love itt my fall like 1,5 meters and it dint happen anything and it 3 months a go +the keyboard is metal and the cd player rocks u just putt a cd in a hole and its alien ware

It will, but not with a high quality.. I surely recomend the 256mb videocard because it has better and faster pipelines and shaders.. =D I have this laptop as well so I know what I'm talkin' about =P

Yes, mine has the GeForce Nvidia 8600 GT 256mb card. Was one of the options when I bought it on the Dell website.

is there MAJOR differences?

cause im looking for just best graphics gaming experiance,but money is an object

anyone that actually knows if theres major upgrades or only slight?

plus battery life is IMPERATIVE

and before someone says "get alienware" well i cant,cost way more than my budget

any ideas though between these 2 laptops?

i mainly wna do Left 4 Dead + CoD4 + CoD5.

there really isnt a very big difference between the two but i have the 1530 and it runs games great on mass effect, oblivion, and unreal tournament so id recomend it to you man

The main differences are that the M1330 is only about 3-4 lbs, 13in screen, Nvidia Geforce 8400 Gt and the M1530 is about 6-7 lbs, 15.4in screen, Nvidia Geforce 8600 Gt. It's more so about portability, cause the

M1530 has about 2.5-3 hrs with the 6 cell battery. I also bought the 9 cell battery for extra power when needed. I like mine and it can run everything in Far Cry on high settings. Have tried the Crysis demo on it, not super smooth all the time, but the laptop can handle it.
