So I've been eyeing this video for a long while now and hadn't had time to try the recipe out... But now it's in the oven just waiting for the hour to pass!!! I'll update on the turn out!! And for those who don't understand Tagalog.. U shud check out the recipe at their website.. (it's in English). I did cos I don't understand Tagalog either.. :) thanks for sharing the recipe!!
Is the mixture for the cake or for the language? You´ve got delicious receipts but I can´t fully understand your explanations. Anyway, thanks for your effort.
the flan shouldn't be too thick.. you could either use a wider baking pan to make the flan thinner, or make the cake thicker.. btw you should've cooked the flan first before you put the cake mixture.
Hey kuya, I would love to make this custard cake but can I just use a box cake instead and cook the custard first maybe half cook and then pour in the cake mix after? thank you!
Ure merenge wasnt fluffy enough it has to be fluffy that u can flip it and then it wont fall if its a little bit drooppy u hav to mix it more or add more sugar
I tried to make it today but my custard it was too waterly after done, could you tell me why and what should I do please.. I have to bake custard first? Before adding add mixed?
I would love to make this recipe but he didnt even give amount of ingrdts. He just poured the stuff in, how am i supposed to kno the ammount of stuff to add
To be honest, at some point of time, I don understand the person's words. But no doubt, it's still a great video. If there are eng sub for this, it will be prefect~ Thanks or the video anyway:)
@jsscmei 1.heat up a 9 by 13 baking pan (by stove top) 2. while the pan is heating add the sugar 3. wait for the sugar to caramelize 4.set aside the caramelized sugar 5. put egg yolks in a large bowl 6. whisk the eggs 7.add condenced milk 8.add fresh milk 9. mix 10.add sugar 11.mix 12.add the mixture u just made to the caramelized stuff in the baking pan (the caramel shuld be cracking) 13.set aside 14. again you need a large bowl 15.add egg yolks 16.beat the eggs 17.add sugar 18.beat 19.add
@jsscmei cake flour after mixing 20.mix 21.add a bit of milk (add a bit of water with the milk) 22.add baking powder 23. mix 24.add lemon rind 25.mix 27.set aside the mixture 28.in a large bowl, add the egg whites 29.add cream of tarter (i think that is what he said) 28.mix with an eletric mixer 29.add sugar 30.mix with an electric mixer 31.with the yellow cake batter add it with the merenge (typo, i know) only a bit at a time. 32.mix well 33. once you mix the cake batter and merenge well add it
@jsscmei cake flour after mixing 20.mix 21.add a bit of milk (add a bit of water with the milk) 22.add baking powder 23. mix 24.add lemon rind 25.mix 27.set aside the mixture 28.in a large bowl, add the egg whites 29.add cream of tarter (i think that is what he said) 28.mix with an eletric mixer 29.add sugar 30.mix with an electric mixer 31.with the yellow cake batter add it with the merenge (typo, i know) only a bit at a time. 32.mix well 33. once you mix the cake batter and merenge well add it
